Ohio State beat.....No one....the whole year....lost AT HOME to marginal Illinois team

LSU....looked shaky in each of last 8-9 games other than La Tech....coach is terrible and offense is not that good combined with underachieving defense

Oklahoma -- loses to T Tech on the road because QB knocked out of game....beat Texas and Mizzou handily on NEUTRAL fields

USC -- losses were primarily due to injuries as well

Va Tech -- shouldnt be mentioned in same league

Georgia -- should have a good case to be in championship (SEC tiebreaker shoudl be final BCS ranking)

For some reason it is engrained in their heads that LSU is the best team....LSU has a horrible coach, anemic offense, and underachieving defense. They do not have near the NFL talent that Oklahoma and USC have along with superior big game coaching.

Ohio State -- last years team was way better than this version, yet we all see what happened with that bunch. Got completely outmanned. Again, not nearly as much NFL talent and athletes that OU and USC have.

Either one of these two teams could beat the other as Les Miles could lose to Arky??? at home??? AND Ohio State loses to Illinois at home??? Good grief.

OU played one bad 2nd half in the altitude of Colorado and lost their QB at the wrong time, wrong place and had to go with some chump. USC -- same story, only they do not have the offense that OU has, they have the best defense in the country.

USC and Okie appear to be playing the best football, with a nod to Okie. Sooners looked fast and tough on D last night. Im guessing that a weaker conference schedule is what keeps them so fresh and healthy this late in the season.

The BCS rankings had Geo ahead of LSU. That was yesterday before the games started. :shrug: Why did they have that? They say it's the computer rankings. I say time to go to a playoff.

I agree, they didn't win the con or div so why did the BCS have them ranked so high in their own system?

I may have worded that wrong. I am not an advocate of the BCS. I believe a playoff system has to be put into place. The other divisions have it and there is no arguement!

I think the BCS is total crap that is why i said initally and that there will be a lot of pissed off people.

I don't care if USC is the hottest team around right now. Anyone that loses at HOME to a 41 POINT UNDERDOG does not deserve a shot at the national championship.
