This game looks as though it could go down to the wire, but I have noticed a couple of things in the first half, the heat seem to be determined to try and play some solid defense and mourning also looks rested and ready to play. The clippers shot 48%, 10% better from the field yet could not pull away. They also are having a bit of trouble from the charity stripe.

Two unit Selection: Heat +5.5

Slight lean to the Over, but will pass...

Rander, are we talking JT Sneaks 3 unit type plays here, what do you think? I am usually with you, tonight we were all the same except I went under in the 2nd half of Mil and lucked out. Thanks and good luck.

Wow... CLIPPERS -5.5 and 86.5

Kinda surprised here by the line... I was thinking more like LA -3.5 and 90. I personally love the OVER. Going OVER is the best play I feel. I think LA will win this game, but with Grant & Mourning back, and the addition of JJ, MIA looks pretty good. LA has not been able to sustain anything as they keep playing like a bunch of school kids.... errr, that's right, they ARE!

anyway... I'm passing on the side, but going again with the OVER~~~! Lots of DEF being played, but it's leading to fast break pts!

OVER 86.5

The OVER for me is EQUAL to a 3 UNIT play on JT's system... a bit concerned with LA's FT shooting, and MIA working the ball in too much. IF LA comes out playing like they SHOULD, the OVER is a lock and MIA gets blown out. BUT, MIA looks very confident, they came to play tonite, but then again, I thought that for the past four or five games by them, only to watch in horror as they sleepwalk thru the second half.... with JJ in, GRANT and ZO back, I doubt if that happens! LET'S SEE SOME POINTS BABY!!

My wife has bronchitis btw, got some meds and is resting for those who were concerned... thanks for the kind thoughts and prayers!

This was a HUGE thread!

Insightful takes being fired into the vine.....one after another all evening long by real NBA experts. Anyone who missed it....missed a classic piece of work!

Special thanks to JT & RC for sharing thoughts so people like me could have a profitable evening in the NBA.

Individuals thinking out loud here at MJ's is when this forum is at its best. This kind of thinking "outside the box" is a lifeline for forum perusers.

---I prefer the term peruser over "LURKER". "Lurker" sounds kinda sinister and cowardly.

Hopefully, I can return the favor over in college foots sometime soon. Thanks again for last night fellows and continued GL.

Nice team effort......even when there was agreement to be in disagreement. ez
