Any reason why you prefer halftimes to the reg picks? Just like to get a better feel for what's going on i guess?

My HT plays are simple mathematics mostly... I use the first half numbers to compile the picks. Also, I do get a feel for the game, and I know the NBA better than any other sport. Hence, coaching/team tendencies that factor into it. But it's mostly mathematics and so far, LOTS OF GOOD LUCK!

Actually, the luck part is not true. I've only won about 2 games by 2 or less, whereas I've lost at least 5 that way, which says alot since I've only lost 9 so far. Hopefully it continues...

These two hit for 72 in first half despite the slow start by FLA. It's only going to get worse for TEMPLE... FLORIDA is controlling the tempo and this game should hit 150 easily.

SPURS got off to a hot start and CHAR came back to take a short lead. SPURS then finished off the half for a five pt lead, but were up by as many as 14. S.A. shot 50% from the field, but struggled at the line. I think CHAR takes this one... SPURS were able to bounce back after one run, but I don't think they'll manage next time. I also think the 2nd half will be lower scoring, as the game is not a fast break type game. Two plays on this one.

KIDD and VAN HORN still haven't shown up and NJ is up by 4?!? SEA hit 7 of 11 from 3 land and still trail... shooting threes can be the sign of a tired team. I like NJ to roll SEA in the second half of this one, and as far as the total, it's too tight to call in my opinion.

Taking the BUCKS in this one... This team CAN'T shoot as bad as they just did. Without their gun doing any firing really, they're still tied at the half. Without MO, MIA can't continue to stop them. Look for the BUCKS get to get it going on in 2nd half!

I'm gonna take Chicago pk 2nd half... that gives me +32 for the game... Minnesota shot 73% in the first half while Chicago only 38%... Hoping it balances out a bit and Minny rests their stars and lets Chicago cut into the lead a little.. 32 pts is a lot... hopefully its enough
