Thanks for the comments JT... picked a BAD nite to say something though!
My own fault really, and I apologize to all of you. Yesterday was a bad day all around, and I should have not tried to post. As I've mentioned, my 7 month old son has been ill (ear infection/bronchitis) and demands a lot of my time. I'm also a writer who had a deadline to meet yesterday, and then my wife's cat decided to start having kittens!!
My mind definitely was not focused, as evidenced by my plays...
I know we all have losing nites, and I can't expect to win every time, (although I do!) sometimes it's better to pass than play when you're mind is not right, and mine wasn't. If you've been following this thread, I've rarely posted BOTH side and total in a single game, and the times I have, I've yet to win both. Last nite I did it 3 times and went 1-5. They are high risk since you're counting on one angle to win both bets normally. Soooo don't look for those too often. I'll try and bounce back tonite if my day goes well. Either way I'll be here, but I'll let you know up front how I'm feeling. Anyway, here's the log:
NBA HT 2-5
NCAA HT 0-1 ... ugh!
CHAR didn't show up in the fourth... after hitting for 31 in the third to take the lead, they get outscored 27-15 in the fourth at home. We lose total by 4, side by 4.5.
NJ played well, SEA tired out... easy winner.
MILW just never got it going for whatever reason, probably good MIA defense. ALLEN/CASSELL combine to go 10 for 34!
Hard to cover that way... Only 34 pts scored in fourth qtr didn't help either. Too bad we couldn't have gotten this one into OT.
PORT was on fire... they took control of this game in the fourth, even though the score remained close for the entire third, you could see the CLIPS were losing confidence against this veteran club. I expected PORT to shut down LA, which they did in the fourth, but both teams were shooting lites out most of the game, especially PORT in the fourth... wow!
