NBA MON 120709 early thoughts - value hunting

Monday: Seton Hall/UMass UNDER 153.5
This game will be about tempo, I expect Umass to try and control the flow of the game, and for Seton Hall to lock in on the guards of Umass as they are the scoring threats. Umass will want to work the clock here to keep Seton Hall in the 70's, but I feel the lockdown defense and the homecourt of Seton Hall will keep the minutemen from scoring. I have the game at 144.

With ODEN out for PORTLAND, they should use a smaller lineup at times and will run with the KNICKS. Aldridge becomes their man post player (With Pryzabilla sp? as well) and he's a big than can run the court. Martell Webster also will get more minutes and he should have a good 3 point contest with HARRINGTON. NYK has been averaging about 223 a game their past six, and with the BLAZERS in town, although they focus on DEFENSE, I can't see them slowing the game down enough in the GARDEN.

I'm not one to complain often, but anyone see the 2nd Half of the Seton Hall/Umass game?
12 fouls called in last 3 minutes of the game, no stall offense run by Seton Hall despite being up 24+, over 25 fouls in the 2nd Half combined. And they put up 91 in 2nd half after combining for 63 in 1st half, to fall on 154 exactly.
