No wisdom here!

No wisdom here!

The Spurs have looked good against two low level teams at Home and looked bad on the Road against an average team But the Jazz are not last years Jazz.

I got 30 going, so no smoothies if i am wrong.

I gotta feeling

I gotta feeling

Love that every one is on the Cav's BUT

Utah 'cus i have a feelin'

It is "More Than A Feeling" Boston Reference intended.

Utah has looked horrible :director: and the Spurs are playing great and are deep!:mj06:

Keep in mind i am a life long Spurs fan! Since the iceman went from Norfolk, Va:nooo: to SA and went to HS David Robinson so admit bias, But come on Utah.

Like last night with the Hornets...they are saying we want to run and score! So you cannot use last years logic with the Unders.

The Jazz as it has been mentioned here every game they Suck:director: and until they prove me wrong i will not bet on them against elite teams.

Spurs or no play, you cannot lose if you do not bet.

ur exactly right! the jazz have looked like crap and the spurs have looked great......so its a pick game? whoever stated the facts about this basically being the same team as last year with utah, and the great homecourt advantage, i feel likewise. thats why the Jazz-1 are my only play tonight. good luck guys.

Few notes for tonight:

Make sure you factor in the Spurs have been on vacation, first game this month.

Flu bug - Spurs McDyess, Thomas didn't travel for Chicago. Will someone else have symptoms?

CLE over is creeping up. Maybe because Chicago's Rose is starting to get into game shape, playing more minutes and scoring more. CLE is starting to jell with Shaq, scoring starting to increase.

SA/UTAH total: Spurs known for stressing more defense on the road, but Utah is playing horrible defense.

My two dimes worth.

I guees this is why we go light for the first month brother. I have notes but not nearly enough for a proper read. BOL 40, this isn't the first we're on opposites and I'm sure it won't be the last. :toast:

...and so does the book. You must have to jump around a lot.
I have a long term relationship with a few locals that haven't shut me off. I don't have a mansion or a yatch or anything like that. There are a lot more people betting more than me. In their eyes, I'm just a small time player. :)

San Antonio's brittle nature really exposed last season and despite reinforcements by way of McDyess and Jefferson, still lingering doubt over the momentum of the squad.

Bonner would be a solid 7-9th man off the bench, but he's asked to contribute here - the management and ownership of the Spurs know well that the window of opportunity for Duncan, Ginobili, and Parker is diminishing rapidly and thus have entered the luxury tax zone for the 1st time ever, I believe.

Not an ardent champion of the Jazz, but losing the last contest against the Mavs as they did after being booed off their home floor following the defeat to the Rockets must lend some degree of urgency - not necessarily Sloan, but his personnel. Home court advantage plays a large role in deciding games for the Jazz - and b/c the game is still dependent on the folly of human referees, there's a decent chance of the Jazz rectifying their ship momentarily by besting the Spurs at home.

Cavs occasionally stumble on Thursday/TNT affairs - last season's contest against the Rockets in Houston springs to mind when James went awry for the game.

Bulls starting out the gate somewhat slowly, but the absence of Thomas may be a blessing - in the same manner that Houston is likely a better squad W/O Yao, McGrady, and obviously Artest - like a big guard like Rose being able to push the ball against the overrated (personal opinion here) backcourt of Cleveland. Noah looks like he's finally elected to take professional hoops seriously and has bulked up w/o noticeably losing any quicks.

Are Chicago a better squad than Washington? Yes, if only b/c Arenas isn't a natural distributor like Rose. The Wizards lost their momentum against the Cavaliers once Gilbert starting behaving like the Arenas of old and the rest of his teammates stood around watching him...

has your original lean on the CHI/CLE total changed since the move?

No, not at all actually - saw it 187 late last night, saw it again at 191.5 earlier this afternoon, placed a small wager when it went to 191 'cause of a personal aversion to half points (don't ask me why, just is).

If the Cleveland - 11.5 currently goes to - 12, will lock in Chicago then as a side also.

What do you think about this prop...seems a little off to me:

113 Derrick Rose +2? pts+assists +105
114 Mo Williams -2? pts+assists -135

Don't know what to make of this prop, to be honest - could see a scenario where Williams is high scorer for the Cavs and wins a numbers tally against Rose (who really does possess a pass-first mentality). So this hypothetical would witness Williams ending up w/ 22 and 3 assists whereas Rose finishes w/ 11 assists and 8 points. Williams is a 2 guard trapped in/doomed to a point's body.

Usually don't venture into propositions so reluctant to advise here.
