thanks guys...
Gman... i cant figure that drop...but it certainly is NOT public driving the number down as just about every consensus site i have checked has BC as a pretty overwhelming pick...that being said BYU is tough at home and is certainly not the type of team that lays down for anyone...no matter what the score is...the altitude is a factor as well as the fact that BYU just does not lose openers ..they play extremely competetive at home and are getting points...
I dont anticipate a blow out...but i think BC eventually pulls away with its physical play and wins a close game...they are three tailbacks deep and should be able to rotate which would negate the altitude effect somewhat ...in addition most people dont realize that BC's QB is not a rookie Qb..he actually played I belive 10 games a few years ago and then redshirted last year...so he is fully versed in the offense...I personally am not a big fan of him..but he will not be rattled or confused and should be poised for this game...
the key is simply if BC's running game is effective they will win..as they will grind this game out and eventually pull away..this will be prob. be a close one at least the line movement indicates that..with the 22nd team in nation only laying a 2 against an unranked opponent
keep an eye on late line move on this one..
hope this helps
