Final update: 3-2-0 and +0.44 units for the day; 16-13-3 and +3.16 units for the week

Lose the two plays with the shortest odds today, but still managed to at least break even. Happy to have done so for the week after a disastrous Friday. Today there were easy wins for Day and Franco who won by four shots and Dunlap who won by ten shots. Love lost by six to Funk though and Woods had the worst round of the week to lose the 4th round score prop and surprise many by not winning this tournament. Should have re-read what I wrote about him at the start of the week!

The 72-hole plays remained 3-2-0 until the end: Singh beat Appleby by four and Weir by three, but lost to Franco by two. Hoch lost by nine to Azinger, but Flesch beat Appleby by fourteen.

Update on outright plays: 1-2 and +4.25 units

Verplank's double-65 weekend breaks a three-week barren spell and makes a place finish from 50/1 a nice winner. Love was in the same position as Verplank overnight, but could only manage 71 and fell to 13th place. Hoch was well down the field in 57th place.

PGA Tour ytd:
Matchups/props: 471-398; +67.11 units
Outright plays: 9-54; -11.39 units

Great news about Spike DTB

Didn't play it myself - opted for Love to win himself - but the 4/1 for the field was a winner this week

Not because of Love or Perry, but Waldorf! Sometimes you just get lucky; but you never get lucky if you don't put words into action

I was thinking about that after going back over intial posts.Twas very nice cash on Verplank by the way.

Going to have to find book that pays 5 places for next year.Any suggestions?
Will liquidate 1/2 account @ sportingbet soon as well as entire account @Goto since they and $plays have same matches and same odds of late.

The primary ones I have been using most for the outright plays have been the 'top-5 place win' books Victor Chandler, Paddy Power and lately Surrey Sports. All three have very limited non-European sports coverage except the NFL and have the dreaded ties lose on golf matchups except Surrey for 72-hole matchups for which they have 40-cent lines

Would probably opt for Victor Chandler of those three, but hopefully some things might change in the European golf betting market between now and next season. Well, I am an optimist!

Agree with what you say about GoTo & Moneyplays DTB. Very disappointing that there has been blanket implementation of the golf BM's lines for the UGS books (bar Five Dimes). There was nearly always some difference in the lines between Moneyplays and GoTo; now I agree there is little reason to hold more than one of those accounts for golf betting, I don't know if it's the same for other sports. Last year, they were getting a lot of my plays, now it's dominated by Five Dimes - I hope they continue into the new season.

A pleasant surprise.I emailed $plays and asked if I could transfer funds from GoTo directly in my account there. They stated "No problem, how much and when."

I actually put some on the field bet for entertainment

One thing about Victor Chandler DTB is that they have a 40 pound free bet offer currrently as well.

Annoying thing was McGinley the other week, Chandler closed off early and misse dthat so each way was elsewhere, so of course he finishes 5! doh.
