So. Cal
take the fg was the right call....free points after the turnover

he had two chances to get 2 yards and didnt.....why so arrogant to think that he would get it on the third try???.....plus nd will be way more successful in this game the FURTHER they are from the goal line, osu defense is good close to the endzone

that said...it was a poorly blocked play

god this ND defense is TOUGH TO WATCH on third down. Too much time for the QB, thats the bottom line. Too much time = open receivers.

i dont think Ted Ginn was in the ND gameplan for some reason

kind of like reggie bush usually isnt. This defense seems to say to one guy "go ahead and beat us"

Then that guy usually does

sorry that one is on charlie

kick the fg you a-hole.....you're defense is struggling to stop osu if they have 90 yards behind them or 45 yards behind them

take the lead.......now you're playing from behind and wish it were 14-10 not 14-7

I knew no points there would deflate this defense somehow

Big swing there. You would think Charlie, the offensive genius supposedly, would realize the value of every single point when the defense plays like his does

As I'm typing Same, rjerjjdfjk drops another one

yep...think that may be a huge turning point....the defense gets a turnover on the 9 and that fat fuk decides that zero points is the best option.....

he was pretty sketchy in that msu game with his arrogance as well on 3rd and 4th and short calls

the defnese is no where near the offense yet.....little size or speed out there, but they do play hard and force some turnovers..........if the opposition limits it's turnovers it can have it's way against nd defense

hopefully OSU gets conservative somewhat here. If they keep attacking this could turn into a long day for ND.

Ball control doesnt work when you dont have the ball.

Weis didnt use the passing attack in the red zone, instead tried grinding into the strength of OSU's defense. Then he gets the ball back after a score and decides to pass? So much for ball control and the run that was working on a long field.

Play calling reminds me of the Stanford game. Not good for ND. Even worse, execution reminds me of the Stanford game also.

yup in the stanford game as well...usually not good for ND when he calls plays this way

In that USC game Weis woulda taken the FG., although they probably woulda missed :mj07:
