NE is locked into the #4 seed, I think the books are keeping this line under the magic 7 because of that. Don't look for Belichick to rest any players however; I live an hour out of boston so I know this team inside and out. Belichick is a big believer in momentum, and even last year against the niners in week 17 he still played starters for 3 FULL quarters, including brady even though the #1 seed was locked up. Don't look for any starters to rest unless they're up by at least 2 tds in the 4th, so the backdoor should be protected. I jumped on it myself at -5, and it's at -6 right now at Pinnacle so I'd hop on. Good luck this week!!

Not sure is really matters, or if thet a seed locked up...but Pittsburgh had the top seed at that point..not sure if NE coiuld have jumped them or not or if they could have dropped to the #3 seed

Just got the Jets +10 (-120) for a nice size play. This line is ridiculous. I know NY is banged up, but NE is probably due for a letdown as they have nothing to play for in regards to playoff position.

Everyone says NE has nothing to play for...but as I understood it if NE wins their final 2 and Cinci loses this weekend then NE gets the #3 seed. Which would mean they avoid playing Jax and instead get Pitt or KC.

Whether that is motiviation enough or not to really come out firing I don't know....but just pointing out I am pretty sure the Pats can still be the 3.

Welp....I guess Vegas does give away free money once in awhile. What a year it has been for favorites in the NFL! Just dominated the season!!! Game getting very ugly for the Jets here.....still a half to go, but with their offense I don't see a comeback from them....
