on another site i have picked 16 stright winners in the survivor contest and need 1 more for the $1000 prize. anybody have any idea on some good plays to choose from this weekend.
i was leaning to tb -3 or carolina -5.

ah that wonderful contest. My buddy had 17 straight and then bin laden hit and they canceled all the games and his streak ended without him being able to pick. I was there every step of the way with him and he would have been the first person to hit the twenty. True story if anyone wants to research it. His name was Shawnee922 i think. It was total bullshit what went down.

david...if I were you...I would hedge a little...say 20K? or 30K?

that way you will be paid no matter what! the ball can bounce funny sometimes...best of luck on your next play tho!

A good hedge would be to take the highest fav in a baseball game as your 21st pick. Then hedge it on the underdog. This way you are getting more than even money on the highest underdog possible.

I'm pretty certain you cannot choose a favorite over -130 or so.

You are right but my point is you are getting over even money. So +115 or so on a hedge is still the best value. If he is going to hedge he will make more money by picking the highest fav from the list and then hedging with the underdog. Otherwise he can just try to get 21 without hedging.

Who has an extra 50 thousand lying around to hedge with? Then all the things that could go wrong like a site packing it up right after your bet or your booky at home refusing to pay u. I wouldn't hedge at any fly by night book. It would be Pinnacle or Olympic.
what ever you don Dan don't give any hints on who you are thinking of taking. Your gonna see a lot of games left off the board to force you into something else. Also if your gonna wait till Saturday your last day you better pray we don't have an attack in this country and the games get cancelled. this killed my buddies chances.
