I wouldn't ever go out an intentionally try to kill a skunk, but in this case, I see no other option if you have it caught in a trap. :shrug:

I have several skunk stories, and all of them end with my heart beating about 200 a minute! :scared

I don't have much compassion for pests that stink that bad and could make me stink that bad too! :mj07: :scared

PS I don't think the fox pee trick above will work. I've come to the conclusion with quite a bit of field time that animals really can't differentiate urine unless whatever pees is in heat.

I believe that they can but I am not an expert.. It's the easiest and really non expensive try..

no skunk yet but no more spray either
checked foundation for holes couldnt find 1 so we built a deck behind house 4 yr ago which is only 1 foot off ground so this must be where getting in.
set traps on ground next to deck, baited wiith chicken meat, no professionals for wife & son, they have to do it THIERSELVES, it will be hard to hold back my laugh when they get sprayed, anyway i have a contract with the chinese resturant in town,under 12 lbs-. 65lb, over 12 lbs-.55lb

6/5- 2 large ponds on farm, 1 has 10-15lb catfish caught regularly

Joker I think I told storys several years ago when it happened but--

had condo at sandestin that we rented--Ocean reef was managing it for us. The called and said they had to cancel next week renters because previous ones complained about moise in attic and smell. Got a call next day and they said it was family of coons and had peed on insulation. On next months bill from Ocean reef it had note detailing charges and job description. --they said they put radio in attic with blaring music--coons left--they replaced insulation and covered hole where they had got in. Seriously.
