1. When a liver becomes available, will you have the operation in Canada or US?

2. Did your physician(s) put you on any kind of diet? If so, how's that going?

3. What's your day-to-day like?

its very expensive and the government pays for the procedure and very expensive re-hab.

the donor would be in same boat.

diet wise, not really what comes in but what goes out. my liver does not rid itself of the bad toxins in my body so i have to take 5 doses of lactose a day and have at least four-five bowl movements per day to get rid of the toxins...basically if i don't shit i will die. i also have to drink lots and lots of fluid (ex. water) to not become de-hydrated.

forgot to mention the cost of re-hab is $4,200 per month..minimum of 3-4 months...the government will help with some of it.
