If Manning cant get by these guy then Ben Roth has no chance. He looked like a deer caught in headlights last night so I'm big on the Pats whatever they open at. You know its only going to get bigger during the week unless the media takes Pitt as its fashionable pick :142lmao:

I don't think Pitt is going to be anyone's fashionable pick. Most people only remember what happened this week. They'll rememeber Pitt scraping by the Jets by a hair, and the Pats completely shutting down the Colts.

"the bunker"
i`ll take the field goal myself....regardless of the fact that ,at this point in his career, roethlisberger is nowhere near as good as he`s being represented....

the pittsburgh ground game is the equalizer...and they play defense...

roethlisberger does his trent dilfer impression, the squeelers win......

and believe me,it pains me to say it....

I'll judge teh Steelers on a rookie Qb against the defending tested Super Bowl Champs, with Belichedk against "Oh I am at home in the AFC title game it's time to blow it yet again" Cowher.

yup to me that will set up just as nice as the pats did this week. will wait for pats backers to drive the line up but for now pit at home at +3 or better works for me

Granted, I have heavy futures on Pitt and I'm from Pitt. This is another overreaction imo. Ben will have the same game as last week, NE beat the best offense ever, defending SB champs, etc.....

Pitt wins because Bettis/Staley runs the ball down a depleted NE defense's collective throats. Pitt is more physical than NE. Don't forget the #1 rushing D belongs to Pitt. Brady will need to perform a miracle late, but that will be tough to do when Pitt makes NE one dimensional and Brady is watching the game from his back.

Drive the line up everyone. I'll wait.

Steelers defense is the key to a Steelers win. Ben just cant make the mistakes that almost lost it for Steelers yesterday.

same here. wont be a popular pick but that is fine by me. huge difference between the #29 defense on the road and the #1 defense at home. maybe the steelers were lucky to get by the jets but then again they havent allowed the jets an offensive td in 2 games vs them this yr so that will add value. didnt the pats squeak by the raiders (tuck rule) a few yrs ago on their way to a superbowl win when most at the time said they were lucky to win? was all over the pats today and will gladly take pitt and any pts next week.
