1. Hit the law books a little harder
2. More moderation in every other aspect of my life

...too much yang and not enough yin, you know what I mean?

Knowing ignorance is strength.
Ignoring knowledge is sickness.
If one is sick of sickness, then one is not sick.
The sage is not sick because he is sick of sickness.
Therefore he is not sick.

1. Spiritual...show greater compassion and love to family, friends and acquaintences

2. Physical....BIG ONE..get control of weight and diabetes NOW! Smokes are gone so this one should be a walk in the park!

3. Gambling... Use the tools and knowledge available to me and the expertise of 30 + years at this to turn a better profit. Toooooo often its just action....greater analysis of those factors influencing pointspreads..... identified changes in momentum....etc can lead to serious overlays and underlays....Fewer plays, higher %, less computer time!

4. Family...........spend much more time really with them! From someone who is already a strong family person. Demonstrate the Love!

Thats about it!

New Years Eve 13 years ago I had my very last Cig and never once looked back.
It's easy for some people to quit, others not-so.
After quitting, you notice what a filthy habit it really is.

Now watching people smoke you can't believe that you actually were one of them......
A slave.

My New Years res this Year ?
Definitely more attention to my wife & boys!!

Best to all

1) I have got to stop going to the track so much, love it, but not very good. It's become a conclusion in my family that we are not very lucky. Last time I went I lost 5 tris because of a late running show horse and one because of DQ. Need to stick to sports.

2) The usual, need to lose a few pounds(okay maybe more than a few)

In twelve months, cut 24 months off my retirement date, through sports and stock investments.

Jack Just a thought.Don't mean to prolong your quiting but would consider making your New Years Date after the Superbowl party.Would seem that date would have more impact as red letter day and believe it would be much easier at end of foots, Would have a finality,is that a word,to it.
