How do they want you to take NY? The lined opened at pick last month and all the money has come in on SF pushing it to -3.5.

Of course, if all the money has been coming in on SF, they probably do want people to start betting on the Giants. Adding the hook onto the 3 will probably accomplish that goal to some extent. Looks like a trap, and everyone has been talking about how the "squares" will bet, but I have my $$ on SF -3. Call me a square, but with injury problems in New York and the explosiveness of the SF offense (combined with a decent defense), I think SF should win this game by at least 4, if not 7 or 10.

I agree that they want action on the other side but by adding the hook to the 3 the leave them selves open to a middling opportunity unless they feel that SF is going to cover this number in which case why not make the line higher?

Sorry Heyward I think I need to clarify myself. I couldn't believe my eyes when this line first came out (pick 'em). I, just like a lot of us here at MJ's, thought that SF would crush the Jints. But now the way the line has moved and not many feel the Giants can hang with the 9ers, I tend to wonder if this might be closer then we all think.
