Jimmy Howard will play between the pipes on Friday.
Howard is playing in his first NHL game since Dec. 20 due to a sprained right knee. Before returning to Detroit he did go on an AHL conditioning assignment where he stopped 52 of 54 shots over two games. Mar 10 - 12:24 PM
