Hate to sound like a golf square who is just blindly following the experts at the most profitable forum at madjacks, but I am a golf square who is just blindly following the experts at the most profitable forum at madjacks.

If this tourney only goes two rounds, is it standard practice to have all bets returned or does it count like a 7th inning rain delay in baseball?

Thanks in advance for your response and don't make fun of the golf newbie

Bobby - Here's the rule at 5dimes:

"Four and five round golf events must go a minimum of 54 holes & three round golf events must go a minimum of 36 holes for tournament match-ups and futures to have action."

I think that's the rule at most golf shops.

Say . . .

I'm about as late as can be in adding my congratulations on your winning the NFL contest, but I'll conratulatue you now, and I mean it sincerely. The NFL contest has to rate as the "Granddaddy of Them All" around Madjack's, which makes winning quite a notch on your belt.  Also, very impressed with your decision to go for it with your plays in the final week. Make the most of it! . . . I have always looked closely for your takes on Da Bears and the whole NFC North . . . It's Great to Be a Hawkeye!!!

that rule at 5dimes could use some refining, in my opinion. I have a matchup where I have Zach Johnson over Steve Fleish.....and Steve is not going to make the cut, but Zach is. So I have to pray that they play a 3rd round in order for me to get paid. Although the bet is won anyways.....kinda dumb rule.

I'm sitting on same match B.T as well as Tim Clark over Lonard.
02/17/05 ZACH JOHNSON (TOURN) -120 STEVE FLESCH (TOURN) $60.00 $50.00

02/17/05 TIM CLARK (TOURN) -135 PETER LONARD (TOURN) $67.50 $50.00

Don't see how they will complete another round. Had some dandys
in running but last hole continues to be bummer as both Tway and Sutherlad bogie last hole--allsitiing @ -6 :(

got the same deal as you guys with Magee over Casey. Both guys missed cut but bet already won. Think my bet at Olympic will be paid, but explanation is in the futures and not in the matchups so you never know.

I can confirm the following:

(1) Olympic graded my matchup of Pampling over Casey as a win.

(2) 5dimes refunded my Magee over Casey matchup and refunded/cancelled my losing Outright plays.

(3) Bet365 graded my e.w. Outrights (including e.w. parlays with Fasth from Malaysia) as losses - no matchups involved.

I hope "the golfinggods" are kinder to Whalers Rule than 5dimes in grading his place wagers on Brian Davis and Adam Scott.

LIA reading your summation reminded me that I had an outright that I marked as a loss and checked and found out I got a refund- my 95-1 shot on Ames for $5 LOL. I'm better off than I thought

Got some books that settled-some graded as no action--and a couple still pending.
all posted plays were graded---I think--don't have my login codes here at home on betfred and boyles but since 2 losses were there would want them included in results anyway.

Golfing Gods

I am in the United States and can't figure out how to call Golfinggods.com. Does anyone know the phone number that I can reach them at.

They are grading my place bet on Darren Clarke as a loss as well as my wager on Stewart Cink as a loss, when he withdrew.

Thanks, Tbillduck

Thanks

Thanks

Never having called overseas I wasn't aware that I needed a country code. It would be nice if they would invest in an 800 number so as not to confuse dummies like me!

They have rectified the situation.

Thanks, Tbillduck
