Kansas City area for who knows how long....
Ctown at $13,100 at break. 35 players in. Average stack about $16k

"I had some good hands" ctown said "been fluctuating---I'm down to $10k, then get some cards, build it back up, then back down....either good or bad hands."

ante now $100, blinds $400-$800

Barry Greenstein is at ctown's table now.

Shannon is still limping around with short to extremely short stacks.

Ctown is excited tho! He stays pretty calm at table, but at break he did pump his fist once and smiled big and said "allriiiight!!"

ctown's chip count still around 11k. Average stack up to 21k?

27 players left, they just hit the next pay level--places 19-27 pay $2965. They stopped the clock and re-arranging tables and such.

Greenstein was moved from ctown's table just after break and got knocked out. He had a copy of his poker book, signed it, and gave it to the kid that took him down.

Shannon finally out with her perpetual short stacks and only one broad left playing in tourney.

little drama at the main event

casual reading until the next update

With a board showing A632 Gold checks and Molina bets $100,000 into the $200,000 pot. Gold raises to $300,000 total and Molina re-raises all-in for $700,000 more. As Gold ponders the call Molina starts talking to him, "You got caught... just fold... stop wasting time, I have the best hand." Molina then tosses his "all-in" chip at Golds chest and Gold throws it right back at him. Molina continues to talk Gold into folding and eventually Gold folds. Shorty after the pot is raked to Molina he drops an "F-Bomb." Gold calls a floorman over and Molina gets a penalty for 10 mintues. As Molina leaves he tells Gold how much he enjoys the chips he just took off him. Expect these two to continue bucking heads throughout the rest of the tournament.

ctown is pumped and excited!

ctown is pumped and excited!

"It's a dream! I never thought I'd get this far in this WSOP event"

Remember all the famous and powerful players that started in this tourney!

a correction tho---he wasn't down to $2k, his low then was about $4.5k.

"I never thought I'd make it from 15 to 12, but those big chip guys started battling each other and I sat and thought you guys just go at it!...sometimes that happens...That last hand of pocket kings was nice!..."

play resumes 2 pm PST Monday.
