I hope Brady does start. He will succomb to the pressure on Sunday, and fold under it and the St. Louis D-Line. He does not have what it takes to beat the Rams.

Smooth, you have never heard of the strategy "Lets play smart, not stretch it, and let them make the mistakes"? And when it doesn't work, the team pulls out all of the stops in the second half, and hopes it is not too late. It was too late for the Steelers, especially when they had to face Bledsoe who is a cool-headed and experienced QB.

Come on!

Dove, Pitt played conservitive?? They were totally shut down by the pats and put in a position of playing catch up. The pats took them out of their game and outplayed them. They went on the road as double digit dogs and took it to the steelers. give them some credit. As far as the QB,Brady plays like a vetern and IMO he think he will be fine in his first SB. After all Warner won his first

Dove, let me humor you for a second. Let's say that was Pitts strategy to play conservative in the first half and then rattle Brady in the 2nd (a stretch) If that is true, Cower should be fired today(instead of the special teams coach). Why would you want to let a so called inexperienced QB gain confidence in the 1st half, then hope to rattle him in the 2nd?

Just my humble opinion!

I won?t take nuthin? away from them teams what?re still fighting for the ring, because you gotta be tough to make it to the NFL?s Final Four. I think New England?s toughness is gunna allow them to stay competitive in this ballgame, too. For a half, I mean. They?ll be competitive for a half.

The Steelers are convinced, and rightfully so, that they are significantly better than the Patriots. It?s for that reason that I?m looking for HC Bill Cowher to open the game with an ultra-conservative gameplan, thinking turnovers are the only thing that can keep his team outta the Super Bowl.

I wonder what Cow would say to all this?

Bledsoe & the Patriots shut down the Steelers, not Brady & the Patriots

Man, I coulda swore that it was NE's defense that shut down the Steelers. ;)

Regardless, both QB's are very good, but when I saw Bledsoe just wing the ball into nowhere land when he was getting sacked...that's when I realized that Brady is the smarter QB.

Luckily for Bledsoe, the play only resulted in an intentional grounding call and loss of down.....and not an interception.

Hellah, I respect your right to your opinion, BUT it just amazes me the lack of respect NE is STILL getting! Pitt did not respect them, they were making plans and reservations for the superbowl. They thought NE was a speed bump on the road to the superbowl, now the only way they are going to the superbowl is if they get tickets!

The Pats played St. Louis tight earlier this season and if it wasn't for Smith's fumble on the 2 yard line it might have been a different result.

I think it will be a good game and NE will play hard!

Blitz,

The Rams are........well the Rams, to many weapons. I seem to remember a team with that many weapons that kicked the dog s**t out of San Diego (SB XXIX Jan. 29, 1995, (for the record I am a Niner fan:D )). I would love to see the Pats win just because I hate the Rams and yes the Pats do deserve to be there (they have earned it), but the Rams are tough and like I said the Rams are the Rams and Marshall Faulk is amazing...you can't dispute that.

Smooth call that a bledsoe moment, he usually has a few of them a game. Another one was when he almost threw the pick in the 4th. Either way whoever plays I think that the pats will have a good chance. Billicheck will see this team again and will have a good game plan to try and slow the rams o down. The pats d is very physical and will make the rams earn every yard especially in the red zone. The 14 points look very nice

I love the fact that, other than the QB question, no one gives a damn about NE.

I listen to ESPN radio everyday. Tuesday, media day, Dan Patrick seemed ignorant to the fact that NE was even in the building. He talked to Marshall Faulk, Aeneus Williams and Grant Winstrom. When he realized that he still had some air time to use....well, then he spoke with John Baker (I think thats his name..the punter) and then Jamie Martin. (Warner's back-up)

Not only am I hoping for NE to cover....it would be great to see them win!

The national media is kissing the Rams ass :moon: You would think they were playing some high school in an exhibition. I heard somebody on ESPN say Warner was one of the best QB's of all time, I think he is real good but, one of the best of all time? I think that's a little premature.
