Oh and to make it worse sometimes you have casinos that actually give ya something when ya get three sevens in a row. That dude had a ton of sevens, poor kid:LOL:

And another scummy casino that won't let ya split every single time.....he wasn't even allowed to split those last sevens.(n)(n)(n)

while that scenario is absolutely plausible (yup, we've all been there), i'm still calling bs on this video. nobody playing $10K/hand is gonna get that worked up. i'm not imagining things, right? those chips say $5000?

First off....I've seen people go apeshit nuts on 5 dollar "hands" on Roulette. And I remember seeing a guy playing baccarat laying down 75k, losing his wager, and almost killing himself running head first into a wall. In other words, the amount of money has little bearing on somebody getting "worked up".

And yes, you ain't imagining things, if my math is right that was a 60K loss at the Red Rock Casino in Summerlin, Nevada. Two Deck Blackjack and yep those were 5k chips.

.....it ain't a bullshit video, this is one of hundreds of videos by the youtuber "Xposed". He also has a big following on Twitch, where there are videos of him betting huge amounts of money.

He is one of many that film in casinos and since he generates so many views and has a ton of comps from Red Rock (and other places in Nevada) he does ok even when he "loses". Plus the Red Rock is one many places now that see the benefit (free advertising) of having everything filmed and tables "shut down" so youtubers and their friends can play. The El Cortez is another place that reaps the benefits of videos like this.

And if you look at a bunch of his videos he (and his friends) get "worked up" plenty of times.

But as I said, just like Jack's fave gambling youtuber (Vegas Matt) this dude has so many comps and makes money on almost every video he posts, so don't feel bad for him.

And for what it is worth if I ever lost 60K in one hand like that.....I sure as fuck would get worked the fuck up:eek::eek::eek:

people think 4 or 5 for dealer is good for them, then again what's the average for two cards in BJ ?

Well to answer your question, if you played every possible combination of hands (a gazillion hands) in a single deck, your "average hand" would be twenty simply because there are more 10's and face cards then any other cards, but that is highly misleading to say your "average hand" is a twenty. I mean nobody (except for hammer1) sits down at a blackjack table and averages a twenty on all their hands, that isn't how it works.

The numbers one should pay attention to are.....

The probability of drawing a blackjack from a single deck is 4.83%
The probability of drawing a blackjack from two decks is 4.78%

House Advantage (if play "basic strategy")......

Single deck0.17%
Double deck0.46%

This would be the best answer to the "what's the average for two cards in BJ" question......

In a single deck shoe......

Decision Hands (1-16)38.7%

Meaning 38.7 percent of the time you will have to "do something". Obviously if you are dealt a ten and a nine you ain't doing anything, or if you get a ten and an eight, yep you ain't doing nothing there either.

Or to even take it a step further, for single hand blackjack here are the odds of the dealer busting (dealer does NOT hit soft 17).....

Dealer Up CardDealer Bust %Player Advantage % with Basic Strategy
235.30%9.8%
337.56%13.4%
440.28%18.0%
542.89%23.2%
642.08%23.9%

823.86%5.4%
