So you are 5'3"? :mj07:

Not quite. After my growth spurt in 1986 I almost reached 5 feet even and with my recent diet i'm down to 106 pounds. So put that in your pipe!

Good luck in your next $5 sit-n-go and please keep everybody updated via a play by play!

Well, what a horrible end result for OU. At halftime, UCLA was up 13-10.....and it was one of the toughest betting decisions I've ever had to make. You either stick with your instincts (which were wrong about the game) or hedge it and get off a risky play.

OU was dropping balls left and right early in the game (four fumbles in first half) and for that reason I got conservative. I bet $5,000 and got off the OU bandwagon, laying -3 at halftime. That gave me a huge middle with some nice profit had the game landed on 6 ot 7. OU had a chance late when they intercepted a pass down 20-17, but the INT was called back and OU basically gave up after that point.

Anyways, it was a small win going into the pros for Sunday.

I really do love SDI on the QTRS angle. Betting a live dog getting points in all QTRS is just too good a value to pass up.

I've read some other good info here on the other games and will post some thoughts and comments in those threads.

Good luck to all.

I personally like ND but he was wrong an awful lot of the time. I mean, just opposite wrong. Once, when analyzing the Raiders, he said Rich Gannon was overrated the year before and the Raiders would suck. Well, Gannon got MVP that year and Raiders went to the Superbowl. Another time, ND, when analyzing New England?s chances at the beginning of the season, said that would be bad, that Belicheck was overrated, and that if an injury occurred to Drew Bledsoe that would be completely f#cked. Well, looked what happened. Bledsow got hurt, Ne went to the superbowl and won it, and tom brady would go on three superbowls, being named mvp twice.

ok ok so he made some mistakes

are we sheep here

all I know is that he has made me a ton of money with some of his halftime angles the past few years

use the nfl halftime angles and throw the rest of the stuff out the door

what little respect i had for the guy (and his terrible handicapping ability) was gone after he advocated rioting in the stands and potential physical abuse of refs so because of their bad calls......this of course AFTER he lost a bet on a clowns game and the clown fans began pelting the field and refs with beer bottles.

oh yeah....this was also around the time he sent me a profanity laced tirade after one of his "in depth analysis" of a random nba game was totally off base (he touted some under in a pacer game....180's or so.....i think the game finished around 240 and they had 130 or so at half.....comically bad analysis that was scott4sc like in it's details)......

Yeah, that was a good one. I also thought his posts immediately after 9/11 were classy. In so many words he taught the class how America had it coming.

The best decision Jack ever made was getting rid of that clown.

His review of 'Barber Shop 2', was pretty good though.

Hardly disagree with kosar on anything (except estate tax), but I don't think that there ever was a bet. He did get into international futball for no apparent reason and threw out the teaser wheel which should come with some kind of warning and, worse, He did turn his halftime angles that he was tracking for informational purposes into real plays once they did well, but plenty of esteemed cappers have played that game here (cough . . . cough . . JMIZE . . . cough . . .worm44. . . cough)

But the bet was in fun and never agreed to, IMHO

My bad about implying(saying) that Nolan got booted. It was his own decision, obviously, to leave the site. Everybody wishes him the best.

S-Love- that was a funny thread that you linked. A blast from the past that I had forgotten about. That guy 'Never Caught Up' was 'great.' Whatever happened to him.... ?

That pompous blowhard made that bet in all earnesty.

Although at the time, everybody rained down the opinion that Nolan stiffed me, I definitely see your point.

You and I have talked about this privately and I told you I can see both sides.

He aggressively made the bet himself, lost, and stiffed.

That's a drop in the bucket compared to his deception he perpetuated on the forum.

BBC .... are you referring to the bet that Kosar claims Nolan welched on here?? if so, as much as i hate to disagree w/ a bears fan..... gotta say Kosar was in the right, as i'm sure he's referring to a number of people to attend a party in A/C bet.
