I agree with 90% of what Nolan Dalla says as I think he is arguably the best handicapper on this forum. Be careful with that Cincy pick though.... Emotions will be running high in that new stadium and I wouldn't be surprised to see a 20-10 or 23-13 Steelers victory. The Bengals have looked good so far, but I still think it's too early to continue betting on them - especially this week. They killed me last week. Just my thoughts.

I feel I am the best NFL capper in this forum,I think Nolan is a decent but not great handicapper,I do agree with the Bengals,I think they will beat this Pit team straight up.

HHM/Railbird- How about posting some plays for us this weekend. Well, besides the Chargers and whomever is playing Buffalo.

Only thing I see on the side of the Steelers is that they are the home team & in a new stadium.
QB stinks

Bengals are clearly the superior team, both on offense and defense.
QB is on a roll
Throw in the + 6 and you got a winner.

Hey He Hate Me,

Last time I checked you haven't posted any plays or a record. How are you the best NFL capper on the fourm? Why would you call Nolan a o.k. capper?? I guess he'll have to have a 7-0 week to get you swingin on his nuts again.

i had a shitass week in pros but that happens.i have played nolan all year and just kinda wonder about wheelin' it all with cinncy?

was last weeks read on cinncy worse than this weeks?i respect mr capper in the pros and he agrees.

for me its hard to stomach bettin 30 games keyed on on jon "kitty kat" kitna on the road.and i probably will not.and sure as hell cinncy will win outright and middles abound.

i listened to that jax game last week and mr. macklewie called 2 taunting calls at questionable times and cost jax 30 yards and lost downs at key moments in the game.

i thought jax was so so to start if not bad but then they got hyped and were a "KEY" team so to speak and from what i heard the officails basically walked cleveland on in.

i understand the brunell gone and everything but its classic nfl officiatiory bullshit once again at its finest.im just ramblin but whats to stop mr hantack from playin stupid this week? the officials shoulda been locked out for good..

in my opinion there are to many "interpretave calls" in pro football.i know its allways been that way but its allways been stomach turning.shit hantak cant see his dick let alone the spot of the "infraction"..its just gettin worse every year..

the old wheel days are over as i see it.. you wanna wheel ; yer gonna get f cked..jmo

pitt by 13?????

Gibber,

I have been contributing on a regular basis in the NFL matchup section,do a search and you will see that.I am not vulnerable to special interests, and say what is on my mind.If Nolan does it for you, thats fine.I agree he is a good writer,he is a star in his own right, but I am the franchise.

I have to be honest when I say that I am usually a lurker. I read what Nolan has to say pretty much on a daily basis. I have done a lot of research when it comes to handicappers and I have to say that I like his style the best. Is he right all of the time? No. However, what he writes makes total sense to me. I base a fair amount of my plays on what he has to say. When I lose I don't get upset with Nolan. I am the one who went ahead and made the picks.
I am going to try and make an effort to post my picks each week.
Here is my record this year-
Totals: 5-1-0
Spread: 1-5-0
6-6-0
I know. I should stick with totals. Talk with you guys soon.

Good luck.

ONE POINT OF CLARRIFICATION:

In my "Cincy Wheel" I am NOT advocating that bettors make 26 individual plays on this proposition. For example, if you are a $100 bettor, I am NOT suggesting to make 26 -- $100 teasers. That would be very unwise, indeed.

What I AM suggesting is to cut this into a broad-based collection of 26 seperate bets, that promises a decent rate of return on the investment. If you are a $100 bettor, I might suggest investing ~$200 in this prop -- that is, laying $8 on each teaser. Perhaps you want to be a little more agressive and lay $260 on this prop, which would be $10 per ticket. Assuming the Cincy win, and 35 percent covers, you get back about $95.

I do love Cincinnati this week -- in the moneyline, getting the 6 points, and with the teasers. However, I also realize that one any given Sunday any team can lose (see Colts last week). I am investing large in this bet, but I certainly do not advise that anyone bet beyond his/her means.

The "Cincy Wheel" basically boils down to a single unit, divided into 26 tickets.

I don't like to toot my own horn, but since you asked, I did take a flyer on New Eng(+650) ML last week. Like em again this week (+10). Not sure this is the week to play the Pats ML, but I like em to hang the #.

GL, man.

thanks for the reply nolan. i probably read it wrong but i get what yer sayin now..lets get some money back this week.

and by the way if you ever get back to your commentary topics, i especially liked the officiating one and would like to hear any more opinions on that.considering alot of people cap umpires in bases it should be a factor in the nfl also but ive never heard it spoke of.

take er easy..

Sorry He Hate Me your one liners in the matchups fourm don't make you the "franchise" you claim to be. Put your neck on the line every week and show some positive units and I'll respect your critisism. It seems like everytime I see you post its a negative comment. Keep it to yourself. Keep reloading that account and pretending your the man.

Chuckie the Gloat,

I see we are on opposite ends of the rope.
Fins "D" will be the key to covering the spread much like Phillys "D" did last week.
Fins "O" will put up the pints oops points to the tune of 30-9
