Chip where do you get your lines? WSEX must be tired of paying me so they make me pay more Juice, how I got -145 vs. -115 on Choi is beyond me.

BetJamica

Actually this was the biggest difference I have ever seen between the two. Normally WSEX has the better lines because they use a 20cent line and graduate it as the line gets bigger. Bet Jam uses a 30cent line right off the bat. So while I generally prefer WSEX for that reason, sometimes you catch a difference, although usually only 5 cents. In this case, it was a much bigger variance than any other I have ever seen. BetJam rated KJ Choi and Chad Campbell even with both at - 115. This was much like the first round when both were rated closer. WSEX had Chad Campbell @ +120 for the second round, much better odds @ WSEX than -115 @ BetJam...IF you preferred him.

Summary:

BetJam (30cent line) - 1st Rd:
K.J. Choi - 120
Chad Campbell - 110

WSEX (20cent line) - 1st Rd:
K.J. Choi - 125
Chad Campbell + 105

BetJam (30cent line) - 2nd Rd:
K.J. Choi - 115
Chad Campbell - 115

WSEX (graduate to 25cent line) - 2nd Rd:
K.J. Choi - 145
Chad Campbell + 120

Stan whats your theory on betting 18 hole matchups vs 72 hole?

I would have been 2 - 0 - 1 this week (including euro).. right now im 0 - 1 and 2 pending.

I think that you can use a lot of the analysis behind betting 72-hole matches when looking at rd1 matches.

For the other three rounds, it is all about angles, trends, etc so it really is a very different type of betting.

Yea i have done really well the past 4 weeks with second third and fourth round betting. Struggled more in 72 holers than in years past.

I wish I would have faded O hern for round 2, didnt even think about checking lines

Well got lucky to tie Olgivy ov Els as he makes a 16 ft birdie on the last and Els misses a 10 fter. Then lose with Choi as he misses a birdie on 18 by 3 in.

Added one more afternoon play:

Weir -120 ov Perry

Weir had one bad hole yesterday Perry seemed to be all over the place, knocked it in from 103 yds for eagle guessing that won't happen today.

44?

If we are talking the same Justin, I see a 41 rather than a 44. I could have used a 44. My only three unit play was for the tournament fading Leonard but Lucas Glover hasn't done his part and I still trail by one.

You are correct. I was thinking of someone elses card. I am surprised with how poorly Lucas played..

c2 - after all that discussion about odds and Chad Campbell plus ended up to be the way to go. Thought we had it during the day though.

I know Choi up 3 shots after 9 I wasn't too worried about that matchup and sort of stopped following it. disappointing to let that one slip away.

Couples was my big wager for the day so if he comes in he will salvage my day.

Looks like a possible MDF week..

Anyway, about time i had 2 winners that weren't nail biters.. Oh yea, just one week off with Lehman

Lost, Beem is right in it.. lots of big names near the top. A little surprised that Furyk collapsed the way he did.. Anyway should make for a good weekend.

Good luck everyone I think I am done this week.. been trying to get my notes ready for next week. The matchplay is the best event of the year for matchup handicappers.. can't wait :00hour One negative thing about next week is that it's a brand new course which opens a lot of variables.

Chip, I tipped Choi in the beginning of the week and have him on my fantasy roster.. so lets hope he continues his good play. He usually shows up on historic courses..
