Notre Dame -14 over Army ***
Hate going against the Black Nites since they are 9-0 and undefeated . But they haven't played a top 50 defense and has had an easy schedule. But they are still 9-0 and with a win could make the College Playoffs. think ND 's loss to NIU was a blessing in some ways ND destroyed Navy that runs the option offense 51-3 . Last yr they beat Navy 42-3 ND has won 15 straight vs Army and think they will adjust to Rileys triple option This game will be won in the trenches and ND who has seen this type of attack and handled it will be ready for it. If it was the 1st time ND defense has seen this then maybe but seeing it a few weeks ago and even though Navy and Army run different options the ND def line is more familiar with the type of blocking. Army is a better team and Bryson Dailey is big time dangerous in the air and rushing .. think ND has figured out def schemes and keeps Daily in check some what.. Army on the other hand knows how ND will try to stop Army's attack and will some wrinkles in there attack. The game is at Yankee Stadium and the crowd is a mix crowd There are many Catholics in the stands cheering for Notre Dame and many cheering for the Cadets. Both teams are playing for a spot in the playoffs . I think a loss eliminates one of them or both of them I think if Army can get the lead their ball control and keeps Riley Leonard off the field they have a huge advantage One thing is for sure Both have good quarterbacks I am taking the QB from South Bend .. and no way is he going to repeat the NIU game and watch the Army cadets disobey orders and storm Yankee stadium ND cover's and shuts down or slows down Army's option like they did vs Navy a few weeks ago

Just watched ND coach's press conference . I hope he tells his team I'm going to say somethings out there to the press so don't believe it because if his players believe him and what he says Army not only will cover but beat the Irish. I know many many times the press conferences are motivators for their own team and opposing teams As a coach I have a masters degree in coaching bullshit . I would always lie but tell my team what I am going to say. " we can't play defense or rebound . " Yet I would tell them they haven't seen a defense like ours and we will control the boards tonite" But after watching Marcus Freeman the ND coach I'm hoping he is telling his players what I'm saying is BS. If I'm Monken the Army coach I'm laughing and not letting my players see the interview. The key is " planting a seed" in your players head. Mind games .. Freeman the ND coach said to much publiclically .. The Army Off line men are amazing etc etc . They really are but you don't want them to know that..
