Thanks for your comments & good to see some other prop bets - the boys over at wagertalk “puck time” have been providing a few prop picks and now I’m hooked after looking into it. It appears it may help me win my family hockey pool when following the player stats a wee bit closer. (We have a trophy with season winner engraved plate, 41 years this year….my name on it only 3x, thats got to change) the caution is that as the season progresses the odds will be adjusted so that will be more of a challenge to winning to be certain.good luck and keep sharing please!!

Thx - yes now the grandchildren (whom are in there 30’s) are in on the action - this year 12 franchises (teams) participating from Victoria, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Toronto so keeps this part of the family connected (the participating) - my favourite part of it all is that we are able to protect 5 players every year except for our top scorer (put in place for Crosby and works well with McDavid and whomever comes along in later years) so you can build a core and maybe take a Bedard knowing you can protect him and have him on your roster for a few years. Other than that, we don’t get too technical with our system….cheers!
