Under a mask.
respectfully, that`s not a link,rusty..and that`s a coppy and paste statement from a c.a.i.r. spokesman....someone with a pro-muslim agenda crying wolf... ...not obama or someone from his administration...

i wish he would use profiling as a tool...it`s absolutely necessary considering who is trying to kill us...and i`m sure that law abiding muslims and middle easterners have the same interests that we do...the same goal..getting to their destinations in one piece...

if i were of middle eastern descent,i would gladly suffer the extra scrutiny...

Gee wease it states on his new policy that 13 Muslim country's plus cuba will get special treatment in regards to profiling.

Factor in the new policy has been all over the news unless you have been under a rock how could you NOT of heard this??I dont get it?Unless he comes out and states hes using racial profiling your in denial ?Typical narrow-minded right wing approach and I dont expect nothing less from you and your kindPretty sad if you ask me....

He is more sympathetic to Conservatives than any other group , so eat some boogers on that.

bullfuckingshit, he hates us, he is anti-capitalism, we have to profile every muslim no matter where they are flying from, even within the
US, if you are a muslim, you must be searched:shrug:

Hedge, I know you are too blinded by race and Fox News to see it, but Obama is more of a Conservative than a Liberal. He's pretty much stayed Bush's course.

You really do not think for yourself do you?

You honestly think this?

If so there really is no hope for you.

There is no great difference between Bush and Obama. Both parties are pretty much the same.

I guess you just believe everything Hannity. Rush and company tell you. You are just a pawn and too stupid to realize it.

Bush and Cheney were the leaders of the worst administration ever. There is very little doubt of that.

However, politically there is little difference between the dems and repubs. Hedge is just brainwashed by the hannitys rush savages of the world and just thinks everything they tell him. So obama is a muslim and other nonsense.

I wish he was more of a radical. Pulling all our troops out of the mideast would be a good start.

I totally agree there is little differance between the partys. And I hate that part of it. There is also so much bullshit to sift through to get things done. It will truly be a miracle if Health Care reform passes. Not one Republican voting for it. And them squawking all the way.

They fight against each other for future power.

Thats not the way its supposed to be.

I agree pulling our troops out of Korea, middle east, all over the world . It costs us billiions with little return.

The big differance is that Obama is alot smarter than Cowboy Bush. He will guide America to the
top again soon.

I got a idea

If the Dems win the Senate has to be made up of only Dems , Independants, and Third party members.

That way we get people that at least think about shit instead of fighting everything the other party puts out.

How do we change this shit ?

its been going on too long

They work against each other to Americas detriment.

We have no say in anything really .

Technically speaking, since it's apparently an issue, Obama has not come out and said the words "I'm profiling Muslims before boarding planes." I guess that's what you guys are going to hold on to. And I guess that's what conservatives have to have to call it something tangible. So, there you go...

What he has done, is meet with all of his security advisors, air safety people, personal advisors, and anyone with an interest in protecting people who fly, and has come out with an aggressive plan to better check more people from more countries in a full, aggressive manner. This means, essentially, from countries with known muslim majority populations, countries known to have muslim ties and connections to those "types of people" and known countries that could possible more easily allow extremists to board planes to come into this country.

Of course Obama is not going to go to the pedestal and say the exact words you guys require for a link. Who in the hell would? You think that might be a good recruiting tool for those that want to kill us? No president in his right mind would come out and say that, but if you look at the actions we are taking, immediately agreed to after meetings with all these people, then you SHOULD realize what it means.

My point in this original post, was to see how a couple of die-hard Obama conspiracy buffs would see his announcement of stricter policies that PRIMARILY deal with muslim-related populations and countries.

I worked in the airlines many years ago, in a relatively small airport in the middle of America. At THAT time, our training called for a basic profiling of certain people - specifically middle-eastern types that look like those that attacked and attack us. Obama has gone on the offensive against the people a couple people here say he is working for. Which is IMO/FWIW/JMO is asinine and ridiculous. And his coming out with the new plans would completely fly in the face of, so to speak.

Now, on to preparing for some football action. Carry on, friends...

Three taps on the floor or -uncle would have sufficed Chad. :)

Had thing happen to me last year--and cost me a Texas sweatshirt to boot.

Cold up there? its been freezing here- 9 degrees when I came in to work this morning. Can't remember last time I been couped up indoors for so long--Something about lack of sunshine that has adverse effect my temperment--only bright spot of late is days are getting longer--next milestone ground hogs days--then return of robins and bradford pears blooming.

I suppose, Wayne. Was not putting that up there for a general assessment of the exact verbiage, was just making a point with a couple folks. Next time, I'll just post it as some kind of e-mail I received, and say it will be a report from Fox News or something, then I won't get challenged about it... :)

As for the cold, yes, it's been brutal up here. While it does come with the territory, it's been really awful for a long time, no breaks at all from the intense cold, plus a big dumping of snow before the deep freeze hit. It was a beautiful Christmas eve and day, that turned into an icebox immediately after.

Supposed to have some warming this week, up to 22 today. Will seem much warmer to us, and supposed to continue warming slightly to tolerable (for us) temps.

I completely agree with the cooped up thing. We have had some bright sunny days of late - but the problem with that is that means the nights are clear and colder. I always get really cranky here about February, and we usually take a vacation, but with school and not much work, we're focusing on me getting things done with an eye on the future of summers off and more vacation time. Tough right now - would love to be flying off to Mexico about now - but will pay off later.

The other fun part for an old weezer like me, is that starting tomorrow I'll be attending classes for the first time on campus, and hoping the female students aren't dressed too warmly... ;)

Good for you--sounds like the plan
-How long has it been since you attended classes? I would hate to go back to school. I just don't have concentration level anymore. I did my online courses and tests for my required 24 hours of continuing education this weekend. -- took about 2 1/2 hour each on sat and sunday morning because I been doing them for ages--however some I had to look up and as I scanned text for answers found myself just reading words and retaining little. --its a bitch to get old.:)
