that mofo had me worried...he died in the 3rd round but luckily humped his way to winning rds 1&2......
I was really nervous in both the gonz/viloria and golvkin/canuck fights as they headed down the stretch...although both the faves were obviously winning I thought both stppages were iffy...neither opponent seemed dead in there and I was thankful when the refs stepped in.....
have to say I wasn`t thrilled with golovkin`s performance...Lemieux tried hard but he`s limited...golovkin seems to fight safety first when confronted with a guy that can hurt him...I understand it but was getting antsy with all the jabbing and combos that seemed to be with less than hurtful power.....have so many pars hooked up with g.g. itd that I was hyperventilating come the 8th(I honestly get Lemieux`s mgr`s protest about the stoppage)....I ruined a perfectly good set of pearls(I was clutching those mofos like my life depended on it)...:lol:
