I'm hearing the same chatter as yesterday. T. Prior and a slew of other Ohio State players suspended due to accepting services in lieu of payment.

Can anyone confirm?

Went ahead and played max bet on Arkansas +3 -105 just in case it comes out

AGAIN NOT CONFIRMED.

5 games is pretty harsh compared to the bowl game

You cant believe the ncaa is allowing them to play the bowl and sit 5 games next year because it is worse on the players can you? The only thing worse that the ruling is the lame ass excuse of the players not being properly educated. When in the hell did that ever matter and even if it does how does that equate to allowing them to play the bcs bowl and sit next year. The answer seems pretty obvious to me:shrug:

So how is this different than a kid violating team or university rules and having to sit out a bowl game?

No consitency whatsoever in the NCAA. Its all a joke.

Honestly, all the rules need to be revamped. Most of these kids aren't there to get an education. They are bringing in millions for the school. Pay them a certain amount so they can live comfortably and not need to break rules and then be consistent if/when they do.

Nothing but hypocrisy in the ncaa.
