If it was only his Vegas crime in consideration then he should be released. The judge gave him the maximum possible for it, clearly affected by the murder injustice.

Which is the greater indictment on our criminal justice system, that OJ was found not guilty of murder, or that he was penalized for that murder in an unrelated future criminal case?

The prior. If I was the Vegas judge I'd have tried to do the same thing.
