it's been hell...but here it is...........
been fighting various illness[ PNEUNOMIA ..COPD..GASTROPARESIS..GERD.. ACID REFUX. ..since March.
have lost a lot of weight and can't seem to put it back on
hard to eat good ...small potions and still slow to digest w/slow stomach
they found bladder cancer this week
surgery scheduled for July 24th
early thoughts are they have 80% chance of getting it all..
though that sounded like a company line
I will know more Friday after pre surgery visit w/Doc I hope
it has all worn me down ...trying to stay positive..
biggest fight is not getting enough sleep having to get up to go to piss during the night and can't go back to sleep..going on for weeks now...sleep deprived and stressed out... ..tried 2 zanex[ 25mg for daytime nap[doc approved]...would not put me to sleep...doc prescribed anti -dep. but will be 2 weeks before that kicks in..
stuck in the house and can't sleep except for the few hours Temazepam gives me..6 hours at the most] before the must pee wakes me and I can't go back to sleep
but it will get better....

Thanks for replying, I didn't know what I should say or how to say it. Lot's of people around here care a lot for you. If anybody can beat this thing you can. Sending positive vibes daily brother.

Cancer picked the wrong person. Not sure if there is a Madjacker on here tougher than Old School.

You can tackle the sleeping issue. Diagnose the problem and attack it. If your mind won't turn off, think of the mundane and repetitive steps of mowing a yard. How you are always looking ahead to the next step and turn, planning so that you don't have wasted energy through efforts. Always checking to make sure what was mowed was done so, perfectly. Let your mind go to where it is happy and it will turn off.

Sending out a lot of courage and strength to you OS to deal with this crappy hand you were dealt. I was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2011 couple of surgery's to remove tumors and my feet are still hitting the floor in the morning.:0074
