I read this morning that Snoop Dog will lite the Olympic torch to open the ceremonies in France . I thought snoop dog??? Although I really can't remember who lights the torches over the years I do remember Ali I think in Atlanta. Frank Shorter when the US hosted. But Snoop Dog?? I don't follow Snoops career now but back in the day he was a member the street gang Crisps . Many French younger generation kids will have their blounts out as Snoop lites them as he passes by. He has been denied passports in a few countries because of his violations and arrests . Don't know the history of the opening ceremony but think way back in the day the Greeks would Light it to some greek goddess. The flame I believe has been relayed to all the continents but think all those Parsians lined up with their blunts and Snoop stopping and lighting them on the last leg will be smiling and happy Hopefully NBC and Peacock TV will show Snoop stopping and sharing the flame . Go Snoop and USA.

Marie-José Pérec and Teddy Riner were the ones that lit up the torch.....

i have news for you... snoop is an international superstar. i'm not a big fan, but i sometimes find him amusing. and, just like the opening ceremony, i could care less that he's there. is somebody making you watch him?

or are you all out of real outrage? try reading project 2025. that should provide plenty of actual outrage to every sane american.

wow Snoop dog was a sensation in Paris I guess he did his job.I 1st I thought what a poor candidate to represent the US But he stole the show especially at one place over 40,000 French fans were dancing in the staduim I heard today NBC or Peacock gave him $45,000 a day for the 2 week Olympics. I guess I was wrong because he was electric dancing and his interviews . He has so many possible endorsements...for the future
Did anybody see Tom Cruise and his final act.. Damn
