I’m gonna go out on a limb here and assume you’ll be flying to Omaha if your Wolfpack win tonight 🤣
If for some reason you’re driving the 1200 or so miles from NC, you’ll take I-80 across Iowa.
If you’re looking to take a break from the road as you enter Iowa from the east, let me know and I’ll meet up with you for a coffee/drink/meal.

Love the Omaha zoo! I’m on the Mississippi River in eastern iowa, so about 4.5 hours to Omaha for me, but I have friends that live there and when my kids were younger we made a few trips over so we could go to the zoo.
The Old Market is a ton of fun, too. Have enjoyed some amazing food and drinks while listening to some great bands while hanging there.
Do you go to the college World Series since you live there?

Always try to get to a game or two and experience Old Market. Dingerville on north side is fun too.

I'd love to go, my grandson is in a tourney for 12U while CWS is going on. I lived in Omaha for a bit, hope you enjoy it Goldy!! I'll probably catch the action on TV. Best place to sit is just left of home plate, less sunburn/farmers tan makings!! LOL
