Wait 12 months when the national debt hits 40 trillion dollars. The thing is. If and when bitcoin does hit one million, that will mean America and the world is in a heap of financial trouble. And the jig is up.

I wonder if I bought in to it years ago let's say at $2,500 , how long until I would have sold it... May be more pissed that I sold at 25k , then seeing it at this number abd never buying in at all. I know this doesn't make sense, but it would have chapped my ass to be in and dived out.

Disagree. While inflation would increase the value of Bitcoin it can accumulate value in the absence of it. 1 million is 10x from here. We have gone 214x since 2016 and even more insane multiples since before that.

While what you are saying is a common narrative, out of control destructive inflation is not a prerequisite for continued price appreciation as it is a still relatively new finite asset that will likely be used as a global reserve currency/settlement device.

a lot of us from here at jacks started buying BTC around 800-1000 when the offshores started accepting it.
I suppose some of us still hold BTC from back then, but who knows? 😉

I roll w BITX- 2x bitty. I like a little Tabasco on my tacos. As we came off the gold standard in the 70’s, this debt spiral is unsustainable. A digital currency may be the solution at some point in the future.

We do but man what if I had just held all of it......

Regardless, it made the last decade a ton of fun. I was a believer from the start and always feel like I should have more than I have since I was in so early.

And a badass military maintains the peace and keeps the faith in the USA. Softbank investing 100 billion more into USA according to my good friend Masayoshi!

100% my feelings as well. Was chatting with a guy that used to post here regularly about a year ago, and he said he had sat down and actually added up how much BTC he had moved in and out of the books vs what he still held and was blown away by the number.

Would it be nice to still be holding all that BTC? Sure would. Am I glad I’ve still got some in cold storage? Hell yes 😎

Dang..This was my point, I make myself feel better by missing the entire wave, by understanding I would have cashed with a little victory only. I became too risk adverse over the years, after making terribly large investing mistakes in the worse of times. 2000 stock market tech crash 🤢 and 2008 real estate buys 🤮. Then I lose millions by sitting on the sidelines with expectations of worse case scenarios. 😑

BTC is a non sovereign, hard capped supply, global, immutable, decentralized, digital store of value. The single greatest asset thats ever been on planet earth and ever will be. I've been buying and holding since 5900. There's zero risk in buying BTC and holding it. It will be worth a million a coin sooner than people think and will be worth about 15 milly a coin by 2045. It's an unstoppable freight train. Oh and here comes massive inflows of USA and other governments buying it as a store of value soon. Cheeto Jesus even said so. Alts and Meme coins are going to make many people generationally wealthy in the coming year.
