Why Im on Princeton- Princeton Starts 2 Seniors 2 Juniors and a soph- very experienced team playing a team that is very talented but very inexperienced. Why is this important especially in this game. Well 1 they run a offence that kentuckys style of d and tempo is just not condusive for. this princeton o takes the air out of the ball and does not turn it over. Also shoots a pretty good % and shoots a great FT %. Now Kentucky does well in a uptempo transition type game. to do that they will need to cause turnovers and pressure the ball. the problem with that is teams that run these princeton Offences- if there good at running them get alot of great looks and back door looks-very tough to get young guys like kentucky to prepare for a team like this- now maybe kentucky dictates the tempo- doubt it-

the line came out at 132 and dropped to 131 right away - if the bookmakers thought Kent was going to control the tempo we would of had a opener of 135-136 and it would be going up. We are catching 6 pos. here in a low scoring game. I see a 64-61 Type game.
Why i like St johns - Gonzagas out of conf play this year was pretty bad. they did well in there conf but that was beyond weak this year also. People say St marys should of gotten in - i do not agree -loosing to Utah State at home killed that chance. You have 4 seniors on this team -and a great tourny coach- this team plays better d and is tougher - gonzaga has a hard time with physical teams -there long upfront but are soft. there offence has looked good against very week d's. but against physical teams-kstate,wash state,illini,sdstate,memphis all loosers- they did beat baylor aphysical team -but baylor turned the ball over 18 times and got in foul trouble. St johns is going to be very physical and pressure the perimeter with hard nose d.Gonzagas transition D is piss poor also. The seniors and lavin (a great Motivation guy) they win by 8

Gonzaga has gained a lot of name recognition over the last decade..
That probably sticks in a lot of publics minds.

i was surprised that the line opened so low...most of what you read indicates the general public isn't enamored with this edition of Zags at all
then you look at this big east team with many signature wins that included beating duke, pitt, marquette uconn, etc. that has really caught the publics eye...granted most of their wins were on home turf
now, with line coming down even further, i'm not sure what to make of this game...

all opening lines I saw (vegas & offshore) had Jonnies -1.5....never saw zags favored anywhere, unless you are referring to some outlaw line...scoresnadodds currently showing 58% on jonnies
I personally don't know where the sharp money is as i certainly don't have access to that info and i'm not doubting that you do
all i'm saying is that I was surprised that jonnies were favored by so little and if zags actuallly were favored then i am shocked based on the body of work of each team this season and what I thought the perception of each team was
