Very balanced stat ledger.....those four first quarter sacks by KU killed VT drives, and a +2 turober ratior for the Hawks, with a pick-6 thrown in.....if VT plays a good defensive half and has no mistakes on offense, they will win this game.

Very intrigued to see what KU has on this drive to start the half.

The last drive by VT scares me.....

Yeah, they definitely stole the momentum there. Other than that drive though they haven't looked too hot on O. I agree with you on the 2h under. I can easily see it being a 10-7 or 13-10 type of 2h.

How does that last drive by VT portend to a huge 2nd half scoring fest. That was a 7-minute drive....hard to hit overs with drives like that.

Props for using the word 'portend.' You could have told me I wouldn't see that word on this site for the next 30 years and I wouldn't have batted an eyelash. :mj07:

What to watch for this half:

Tech was every but as good this year in the turnover margin department as KU was......it is +2 for KU, will that even out?

Tech passing game.....can Glennon get into a rythmn....he did in big games vs UVA and BC down the stretch. Did that last drive with Ore do enough to keep the D honest and allow for easier passing lanes.

And, I was gonna put something down here about the Hokie special teams.......well, we just saw something there, did we not.

Whole. New. Ballgame.

Its been tough going for under players. Well, at least for this under player;)

I have lost 3 Unders in a row now in bowl season: Fresno-GT, USF-Ducks, and the Rose Bowl.

Too gun shy after that. Overs had all hit by the end of the third. Sad thing is, I would play them again. Really, I would.

Didnt you drop "nutter" or something once.....you're not too bad of a wordsmith either, my friend. ;)

:142smilie Hey thanks! Yeah, that was to our friend from down under Mr. Christo. He used the word 'rubbish,' so I said next thing you know he'll be calling people nutters!
