a stab at texas problems in big games

they come into this game with their toughest opponent being okla st(and they struggled mightily)....i liken it to a boxer getting good,tough sparring prior to a big fight...you need to be prepared and i don`t think n texas,tulane,houston and a weak north carolina team is enough tough competition and preparation for an oklahoma....simms is used to feasting on cupcakes that don`t even remotely resemble the oklahoma defense....oklahoma has already played 2 teams tougher than anybody texas has seen(missou and alabama).....texas looks to me to be more talented,but when you compound the lack of competitive preparation with a coaching mismatch,it doesn`t bode wll for the more talented horns....that`s how i sees it.....g.l.

OU Texas looks like great coaching and very good talent from OU versus great talent and average coaching from Texas. Stoops seems to have Brown's number in this series and Stoops seldom gets outcoached.

I think OU is going to have to use their defense to set up their scores. Hybl looks confused as usual and the OU running game is nothing, especially against the Texas offense. If Jason White were the QB for OU, the pick would be an easy one ( OU for sure ). With Hybl however, the OU pick is not as certain.

However, I think Stoops and staff have enough tricks up their sleeve to fool Texas enough times to win outright and cover the number. Look for some OU trickery to win the game. There is always the strong possibility of another Chris Simms choke job in a big game as well.

Going with the more athletic team here. Saw RB Benson walking off the bus on TV last night...Didn't see any sign of pain at all. Simms seems to be in good spirit also.

and I honestly feel sorry for all T-Sips......you need to get rid of Coach Mack.....this guy can't coach at all.....and defensively either....good grief.......South Florida shut down OU's run better than that......

It is a hopeless situation to have a worthless coach.....i know this feeling as we Sooner fans went through the Gibbs/Blake years....

Just try to get out of your oblivious hype....i am actually proud of you all for staying away from most of it this year......but in the end, Chrissy was out there for about 10 million interviews this week...and as soon as he scores a TD he goes over and taunts the OU fans......need to talk after you walk Chrissy.....and see if you can throw a TD before you throw 15 more INT's in a big game.....

don't get too down about this....its only a game...much bigger things to life......I get wrapped up too much emotionally sometimes in my teams and I know it can ruin your whole week....just pout for a little while and forget about it.....
