Did you know that if you had bet the same parlay with one of your selections at -120 instead of -110 that your payout would be about $250 higher?

me no understand.....

why would this be??

PC,

Can you elaborate on that? I might be misunderstanding what you are saying. A 1-unit bet returns less money at -120 than it does at -110, therefore I am confused as to how his parlay would return more money if one of the wagers were at -120 instead of -110 since a smaller amount of money would be carried over to the next wager (assuming of course that all other odds remain the same). Am I misreading your post?

Those were almost nice words until "Of the Year", were uttered.

Good Luck Raymond, but have to bow out of this one since NBA Game of the Year went down, NCAA Game of the Year went down, and the NCAA Football Parlay of the Year split.
Maybe I will change your luck by not taking them, they are due.

No you're not, and I should have explained way in my original post, sorry. The more teams you play on a standard parlay with selections at -110 the more most will shave off their posted payout. But if you include even just one selection at odds of other than -110 then they calculate it the parlay at true odds.

The book that BF plays at is no exception. True odds for a 7-teamer with all plays at -110 would return $1848.49 for a bet of $20. If he had one team at -120 instead of -110 his $20 would return $1775.13. But we can see from his post that the return he gets on his bet is only $1500.

Hopefully that is clear ... let me know if not.

because you are playing 4 teams insted of the 10-1 it would have the -120 ml added in which is+1.83 when added into a parlay of odds. thus it pays more should also do that if you are playing a 4team of 10-1 you can go up to -180 and it will pay better then the 10-1.

pacerfan, No I'm not actually. Even if you play a moneyline of -110 most books will still consider that a standard selection into their parlay payout chart. What I'm saying is just to make sure the odds on one of your selections is not -110 (even if it is on a spread play) to make your book calculate your parlay with true odds instead of using their preset chart.

Nittany: how about you start posting some picks then? Raymond is nice enough to share these with us win or lose. I am positive these OUTLAW plays win more than they lose. You seem to forget the streak the outlaws hit earlier in CBB this season. Are you bitter that on the given night you decided to take outlaw plays and lost? Enlighten us here? If you don't like the picks ignore them. Don't bust a guys balls for trying to help others out...

I don't play them but it seems like every time I read a post containing OUTLAW plays, they lose. Maybe I just happen to read them when they lose but if that is the case ... look out tonight cause I read them. I am not trying to bust Rays balls about posting them though. If they win more than they lose, I am glad but like I said, whenever I read them, they tend to lose. Maybe I'm just bad luck. Sorry, didn't mean to offend anyone. I hope they win for anyone who plays them tonight cause I am not playing any of the tourney games although I like Duke big over Indiana. And I'll post some plays for you.

NHL: Ottawa, Philly, Carolina and San Jose ... I am playing them straight and as a ML parlay
