As soon as I spend the money to buy it - they'll come out with P91X and mine will be old.

Its a home workout video 12 dvds. You don't have to drive to a gym. You will get the bestworkout you ever had and get better results in 90 days if you follow the program. Current and former NFL players have done it. You don't need a whole set of dumbells you need a chinup bar and its nice to have resistance bands. With the warm up and cool down you need 1 hour 6x per week. If you can't commit or fit in1 hour a day at home to workout than its not for you.

All is set. They are inducing my wife tonight so I'll push the start date out a week or two. I've done a lot of reading up and am pumped to go into this full force.

Wow, Saint you're being a slacker already. You're going to let having a kid get in the way of you starting this program? :142smilie

As far as cost compare this to a monthly gym membership, travel time to and from a gym, personal trainer etc. You have it all at home so its a big time saving. Plus you will get better reaults in 90 days than 6 months at a health club. Franky wright the pamphlet explains how to do the exercises but you have the visual with the dvd.s The part you want is the order to do them. You want the classic workout its done in 3 phases with week 4 a recovery week than you go to phase 2 for 3 weeks with the 4th week a recovery week. I can list it here or you can go to beachbodycoach.com/franksgym email me and I will provide you with the workout order. The other thing you don't have is the nutition guide where it tells you exactly what to eat or you can pick and choose the foods they list which coincides with the 3 phases. In general though as far as food eat = amounts oflean protein, low glycemic fruitsand vegetables, and good essential fats.

If you would provide the order here, I'm sure it would help a number of people who are looking at this. Is the nutrition guide in the PDF files that Layinwood provided? I did not see it so named. Only the 'Quick Options' which is the fast food options...

Anyone start the program yet?

I've done a few days of it and here are my thoughts.

1. Diet is a great diet if you want to lose fat. I favor diets that give you one cheat meal or day though. I know for me to have success I have to have both long term and short term goals to look forward to. Having a free Saturday or one meal on Saturday gives me something to stay strong for during the week. If you want something like that, I would recommend the Anabolic Diet. It's a weight lifting version of the Atkins. You get a free 36 hours per week to eat more things you really like. During the week you get to eat some carbs just not a ton. It's designed to help your body have times of high testosterone and GH.

2. The workouts on this are hell if you're not use to going full blast for an hour but nothing to demanding. Don't look to get big and lose weight with this. I would think you will be close to being catabolic with the calorie deficit and hard workouts.(depending on your body and how much fat you have)

3. I'm going to continue my normal weight lifting routine I'm on right now, use the cardio part of this program and the diet.

I'll give updates if the others that are doing it will.

I've got it all set and ready to go, probably will be starting next Monday. Trying to adjust to a new schedule with a new baby but mostly it's hard on my wife. No milk coming out of my titties.

I'm going to look into this. Working from home I spend 30 minutes driving back and forth to the gym in Atlanta's Buckhead area... Doing this at home could save me time...

Thanks for the thread fellas! :)

I thought I was the only fat slacker around here at MJs:mj07:

Good luck boys, I just incorporated a new diet..eating healthier along with eating normal people sized portions of ANYHING I eat. Ive always liked to get the biggest plate and pile it on with all the good stuff and eat until I physically feel full, WHAT A MISTAKE!!!! Ive lost 13 lbs in 2 weeks which is great for me(Idea weight for me is about 180-190 I started off at 212 I know thats just fucking sickening) as I havent lifted one weight or taken one extra step outside of my walk to the car. Eating has ALOT to do with any issues with weight of course, shit.....my $600 worth of bench and weights are STILL sitting in the basement and I havent lifted a single finger yet, they arent going to waste though my son is using some of them for his curls and routine he does:142smilie Interested to hear some results of this.
