Oregon St:
2000 - Finished #4 in AP poll; BCS BOWL victory in Fiesta

Washington:
2000 - Finished #3 in AP poll; BCS BOWL victory in Rose

Washington St:
2003 - Finished #9 in AP poll
2002 - Finished #10 in AP poll; BCS BOWL loss in Rose
2001 - Finished #10 in AP poll

CAL

2004 - Finished #9 in AP poll

That's 11 Top 10 AP poll finishes
That's 6 Top 4 AP poll finishes
That's 2 National Titles (full or share)
That's a BCS bowl record of 6-1, best anywhere.

All in the past 5 seasons. Yet the Pac-10 is still "weak", "soft", "down", "not as good as other conf"....etc.......as for the Big 12 (who I think is-has ALWAYS been the most over-rated conf) how about these results:

2004 Tex slips by Mich
2003 OU rolled by LSU
2003 KSU rolled by OSU
2002 OU handles Wazzu
2001 Neb rolled by Miami
2001 Col rolled by Oregon
2000 OU rolls FSU

that's 3-5 and some complete routs when they lose........"but it's a deep and quality conference"...RIGHT.

2004,,,ou spanked (auburn-utah would have been more competitive)

2003...yes ou got rolled by lsu...game wasn't that close (sc was the best team)

2001...neb got steamrolled by miami (oregon should have been there)

ALL 3 teams got into the game over better teams because of pre-conceived notions of how good the Big-12 is.

I heard all year about how the Big 12 south was the best conference ever assembled.....

I love the excuse about Cal; that was the PAC 10 only claim to fame other than USC and then they go out and get flat out dominated. Dont give me that crap about not motivated; Rodgers said it was a statement game so dont even try to say that; you are comical. They gave up 600 yards of offense and got spanked so just deal with it and stop making excuses. UCLA got spanked by a horrible team and ASU played well. You didnt even fill the amount of bowl slots. The PAC 10 is a joke other than USC so just deal with it. You finally got some good coaches in there and I expect in the next 5 years the PAC 10 will climb to the 3rd of 4th best conference which is good for them. Now just get over it anyways and get a life. College fball is over. USC is a great team and should contend for a long time. Congrats to them but no matter what you write no one will ever believe the pac 10 is anything but the 4th or 5th best conference out there. By the way whats the big xii record against the pac 10 this year. Post that on your next moronic response. :142lmao:

Exactly the teams in the acc, big 10, big x11 and sec are better than the teams in the pac 10.
You never responded to whats the big xii record agains the pac 10 this year. I say a reputation is built on performance; for some reason you want to compare the big xii against the pac 10; so lets do that; why dont you post the scores of the games this year not last 10 years of the pac 10 versus the big xii. I doubt this will happen because you know the results and they aint pretty. :142lmao: Just quit while you are behind and let this go; college football is over; usc is number 1. You should be happy to know that at least one team in the pac 10 is good.

The MAC is a better conference than the PAC-10 because I win more money betting MAC games. So therefore I think it's better.
