Historically in the NFL or NCAA you would never see this until about 5 years ago… Now it's considered the "heads up play" in other words the player sliding denying the other team any access to the ball, gets as much credit… Praise heaped on him and scoring a touchdown. Show your unselfishness, and deny padding your own statistics for the good of the team. Slide, deny the other team the ball, or any chance of all of winning. That's the new way.

And the next and last play a perfect pass went through receivers hands in corner of end zone.. I had them at +24.5 in game , but was thinking about that bad beat for others
