heard it on the radio earlier. damn shame but he had a good life. one of my favorites and might have seen all of his movies. also i respect him for staying married to JW for all those years when he could have had anybody he wanted.

camps for dying children. etc......

let's hope he was greeted in heaven by the many children who he made smile when they had nothing to smile about....

another reminder that the world that those of us in our 40`s and 50`s remember fondly (as a much younger person) is slipping away........

cool hand luke, the verdict and the sting are prob my faves. will have to check out cat on a hot tin roof again because i don't remember that one.

it`s the best one....imo...sports and gambling movies(except for the gambler with james caan) are silly,unrealistic and cliched......:shrug:

he didn't ONLY play parts about sports and gambling :shrug:

the verdict is a lawyer movie. eddie prob watched it 50 times. he'll tell ya.
