Shot 211-191-217 for a 619. Take that anytime at Nationals. Got in 40 senior brackets. I’ll check later tonight but should have done alright. Payoff for brackets is here at the Silver Legacy so that’s nice. This place is deserted though. It’s very depressing. Used to be huge crowds just a few years ago.
Hope all has been good with you redsfann.

Josh, love the bag! Will check into it!

All good here, Nole. 29 years and counting with the better half and the kids still talk to me, so I must be doing something right
Nice! Anytime you put up a 600 series at Nationals, you’ve done well. Two more sets of 600 should get you a decent payday in all events.
Finished the league season last night. 215-267-234 for a 716 series. 206 average for the year. Swear the shot gets easier every year.
That is nice that bracket money can be picked up at Silver Legacy now— remember having to go down to the shithole that is Harrah’s to get it?
Not surprised to learn that there aren’t the crowds for nationals like there used to be. The Reno/Vegas every other year rotation got old in a hurry… miss the trips to places like Albuquerque, El Paso, Baton Rouge.. were you in Knoxville yet when they hosted Nationals? Don’t know if that would get the numbers back up, but they’ve got to do something.
Good luck today.

Nole, I cant wait to hear how you did in brackets, I plan on getting in max in both Senior and regular of course that is all pending who is on my squad not that I am scared of anyone but if Troup or any regular tour guys bowl my time not so many then, with the Senior Masters just a week out and the Super Senior Masters less than that I could have some great bowlers there when I bowl. My league ended last week and I had just came off a cruise ship so no bowling for 13 days I bowled ok and we finished 3rd for the season I averaged 227 in one league and 218 in the other I was 5th high in the house the top 4 all 2 handers over 240. Not bad for an old man.
Keep me posted you give me something to me something to shoot at, I will add in again I think team is easier than the other events but no doubt you have a good start for all events. Where did you play in team and what did you use, I am no longer under Motiv deal so I have a little bit of everything.

Great bowling though I would be content with those scores

I bowled a March Madness type double elimination event yesterday up in the North Country and ran into a buzzsaw lefty that whipped my ass LOL he shot 268 257 248 against me and beat the field by 80 pins I was 11th out of 64 guys with 586 so that should tell you how hard they were LOL. No excuses though he had a great look and I am a down and in guy and third game I moved deep for me I was standing on 30 and hitting 20 at the arrows and 13 at breakpoint for a modest 241 game but was no match for Pascal. I won the next 2 matches and then I lost in round 4 with a 199 game to a 214 to a young man standing left of the ball return and lofting the gutter caps.......I cant do that.

Remember palming the ball and between the legs, we were screwing around and got jumped by the owner. Now, its common place.

If you watched the TV show last night on FS1 you could of watched it live they were lofting it to 30 and swinging it to 5 or 6 absolutely ridiculous, its actually a real talent but I cant see a 60 year old pro competing like that

Good luck! It's awesome you get to pursue your dream. The senior tour is very very good. I can't stand watching the national tour with the 2 handers and it just being a right hander just chucking it from the left gutter. They're great of course, but it gets old.

I haven't bowled in a couple years because of my back, getting old sucks. I was a good house bowler 230s average.

Sorry for the delay.

Entered 40 $5 brackets. 1-2-3 and 3-2-1. $25 for high game jackpots. Not sure how I did in that? Not sure if they paid more than 1st? I don't bother looking at the results per bracket, just getting paid. So, put in $225 and got back $930 so not bad for 2 1/2 hours work. Played a belly shot starting around 18-20 and then out to 10 or so. Back-ends were great. There was tug room and also could sail it out just a little and it would come back. You know outside of 8 and it just stays there. Totally different shot in S & D's of course. Couldn't find a consistent shot. Really struggled. Caught a huge break in brackets. Got in $200 per event so $400. Went to see if I cashed and got back $365. I was shocked. Turns out $360 of it was a refund. Nobody hardly got in brackets. I only used the Hammer Black Widow. It's been my fav for a few years now.
Hope you bowl well!

Oh, Reno is really becoming quite the shit-hole. Just nasty. Not sure why they keep going back? Vegas every year seems to me would be the correct call there.

I would take these scores anyday but last year he was way higher finished 4th in AE and shot 798 in Singles so to him he struggled what I would give to have his issues LOL he is 34 years old and drills all my stuff as well as Sam Cooley if you seen him the last week on TV

I bet I drilled 500 Yellow Dots back when I had my center. Black Diamond!!! Ha ha! That was like a marble. 10-pin ball back in the day.

Well Open Championships are over and team event was horrendous for me I had no look whatsoever and never had a ball reaction I liked, so in Doubles and Singles I took 3 new pieces in with surface changes from 360 to 1500 and had a much better showing and was the high Senior on the squad with 639 in Singles good for $1130 dollars in brackets and I shot 160 my first game, doubles I had 578, overall a great comeback after the team event and I ended up just a little under on the money side due to an enormous amount of refunds due to not many brackets because Andrew Anderson was on my squad.
Journey continues in Vegas on June 5 for the Senior Masters
