i am from the same area that Pryor is from, kid is an amazing talent, but i think that Penn State knows how to defend that type of QB, having michael robinson before, and to a degree clark this year....i dont think pryor has the recievers to throw to, or the line to protect him long enough...

Just go back to the last common opponent, Wisconsin. Ohio St needed a last minute drive to pull the game out and Penn State finished them off in the first quarter. 48 to 7 or 20 to 17, who you gonna side with. Lions roar in this one!

Hawk, I have followed you quite a while even though I have been gone for 2-3 years, I respected your opinion back then and you prove your skills weekly here.

That said, this game is one of great emotion and home field is BIG advantage in this game.

But if Penn St wins the toss, and takes the ball, then drives strong for seven, and first Ohio St possesion the Lions Defense gets a pick six, the fans won't be quite the factor that they could have been.

I thought that based on the Wiscy comparison alone the line would open up -4.5.

Further thoughts please?

agree....doubt you need em

I'm pretty sure USC and Oklahoma are sending some players to suit up for Ohio St. as well. It's a bigger game for them.

right now i have no opinion on the game....but a 1dimensional team will not be able to beat a good team like psu....& in order for me to take osu, i have to be convinced that they can throw the ball down the field with some success...i am not convinced that they can at this point....

Geno Thanks for the commnets-but what if the reverse is true-Oh St wins the toss-sorces 1st then intercepts a pass on Penn States 1st poss--now even a bigger home field adv. Big Ten home field is big. I think Penn State is a better team and I am tired of Ohio State winning the B10. As usual I like the dogs. Should be a great game. Just giving my opinion as was asked but probably won't bet it--GL to you. I am hoping they actually win as they then travel to Iowa next-mayibe a let down--Go Hawks!

Comparison

Comparison

Don't just look at these 2 teams game against Wisconsin. They both have played Purdue. PSU beat them 20-6 and OSU beat them 16-3.

-2.5 penn st, who wins?

Stick with the team that has never not won or covered a spread this year. And keep doing it till the perfect machine breaks. Alot of people keep betting and expecting Penn St to falter; they IMO deserve 2nd over ALA. Look at how the two teams played last week against their opponents. Both division rivalries. One covered big even after getting lazy and crushed in the 1st half and the other had to hold on to dear life. Penn State ties Utah this week with an 8-0 record. I was gonna hammer em tonight, but Im hoping Im right on where the money goes and I can get Penn St at -1 or so......

Good point except PSU played Purdue away and OSU played Purdue at home.
