why would it be minus 13 units ...

you only risk 10 units ...so when you WIN at -130 you only gain 7.79 units.

IT'S A FLAT WAGER...

He plays to win $1000 so it's -13.00 on a -130 bet for 10 units.

There are quite a few errors up there but I see what you did. A lot of people risk bet instead of betting to win that amount. Thanks for taking the time. :0008

if you vary the unit size and of course the price varies in bases and you can only get a correct unit count by flat wager count.

why would it change a return in actually dollars ..

the unit is standard..

OVER 8.5 (-119 ) 7 out of 10 units PADRES vs DBACKS W+5.88 units {57.11 units}

example...it's not 7 units in return .....it's the return on the units wagered at the price

which tally your units ventured plus and minus and move the decimal point for $

am I still off base here guys........

He?s betting to win the 7 units so he has to lay 7x119 to win 700. $833/$700. On that example he won 7 units but had he lost he would have lost $833. You have him risking $700.

Close to the same difference the way you calculated it on that win.
