Pepsi....hands down.

we just had this discussion the other day; why in the world do some restaurants only offer pepsi? if i owned a restaurant, i would offer both, but if they only let me carry one, i'd have coke (the nunber 1 seller).
i can understand pizza hut, KFC, arby's, etc. only having pepsi but why other places?? that's like owning a bar and only selling miller instead of budweiser. wtf is that??

The fact that Pepsi owns half of the places you mentioned might have a little something to do with why they don't sell coke.
But, I do believe that there is a competition codicil somewhere in the contract with each company.

Not even close. I get major stomach problems when drinking Coke, not to mention it just tastes bad. Prefer RC-Cola as a second choice.

i will drink either diet rite, diet coke or diet pepsi, but not any of the other generic type colas! i stock up when i'm nearly out, and buy whichever happens to be on sale. (but when it's DC on sale, i stock up more than i would with the others)

Pepsi for me. Also like RC, then Coke. Work only has Coke in the building, so I drink it by default. I have heard both Pepsi and RC described as Southern sodas, and Coke a Northern soda. Anybody heard that or give that any credance?

Since I am from the south, I don't drink POP!
Between those two, I like Coke a ton better, but I prefer RC to either one of them.
The reason why New Coke flopped is becaue it tasted like Pepsi. Also, because it was all a marketing gimmick, but that is beside the point.
