OK guys - Perry in and small deficits in the other 3 matchups - surprised Furyk is not playing better, haven't seen any coverage of his play and heard he missed a couple of short putts yesterday, hope he can grind it out over a shaky Mickelson

Watched "the trio" today and was surprised as Ogilvy and Mickelson got break after break, esp Mick - to his credit Ogilvy nailed some long putts to stop a couple of short droughts - looking to press and fade both tomorrow - Sergio played a great round except for triple bogey early, will be interesting to see how he adapts to what figure to be slower greens

All in all, decent tourney but I find this to be the red-headed stepchild of the majors - only thing major about this one so far is the field, hope they have some tough placements tomorrow to slow these guys down - really don't care to see 16-17 under win this, the great thing about both Opens and the Masters (when conditions are tough) is that you can watch the cream rise to the top while the others bitch and moan about conditions and "fairness"

Anyway, happy hour rant - will take a look at moving day matchups and see if I can find something juicy

GL until then - LA Burns

I believe the person most unhappy this weekend is the person hired to revamp the course. I don't remember his name, but he probably is out of a job. This course is way too easy for a major.

Thought it was biggest adv in 3 balls I saw for a while--bet it both rds everywhere offered--fortunately got a little better odds 2nd day with best being at SB as noted in yesterdays thread.
EVENT/MARKET SELECTION EW TERMS HANDICAP PRICE RESULT
R2 14:50 - Haas v Broadhurst v Haas/Who Will Shoot The Lowest Round? Jay Haas +125 W

Going to see how nasty the posting Gods can be
take Donald -147 vs Herron @ B&W

Herron quite interesting--was in my triple * list as top fade for this tourney and is setting tied for 1st.
Was cut here in 99 has done no better than 63rd last 5 outs with 3 cuts--
erratic driver on cource where accuracy is premium ranking 151th--ranks outside top 100 in GIRS from rough--
He ranks around 150th in scoring on week ends
--but maybe he keeps pulling rabbit out of hat.:)

Hey Guys

Hey Guys

Nothing that looks too appealing for today - think I'll sit back and wait for tom., maybe a small play on Scott over Sergio

On a personal note, two big happenings in my life yesterday - got engaged to be wed and my grandfather passed away, makes everything kind of bittersweet

Anyway, everything is for the best (grandfather was 93 and had just been in a car wrecK) - just wish I could have told him about the news

GL all and hopefully something shapes up for tom. - grandfather was a gambling man and tom. there will be a huge play in his honor regardless of the matchups

Take care - LA Burns

Poulter -110 over Stenson
Mick over 69.5 +105
Donald -110 over Garcia

Would like it better if Donald not paired with Tiger in last group--but mostly fade oin garica and didn't like the -140 on scoring prop.

Basically going against type A (aggressive) players Mick and Garcia when just off the pace and need low score to win. Course should have some penal pins however with no wind and little sun greens still will be like dart boards.

Sergio -115 over Donald

Ogilvy -130 over Weir - Big Play

Saw a couple of the placements and I don't think today will set up well for Weir's lefty draw - also, not sure how Luke will hold up in the last group

Thats quite interesting Scrub--which player produced the win for you?

Certainly would be adv being on sight and getting insight and peak at course setup.

Was looking at wind projection for tourney there this week and looks tame compared to most years.

Been quite unusual year for elements this year as most have been void of wind--even the British
Open.

Main reason we are getting these absurb scores in majors. The1 inch rain on Friday last week changed the complete characteristic of course, which was beyond anyones control--but keeping greens "lpga speed" was a puzzeler???
