Ohio St:
played at a diff level in 1h of gm vs Tenn, in freezing cold at home (covered)
then did it again v Oregon in Rose Bowl perfect conditions, holding off 2h challenge (covered/over)
then was often out-muscled vs Texas, yet had a 75 yd screen-pass TD last play of 1h, and a 90 yd scoop/score to end the game (and covered/under) (undeservingly)
NDame:
beat an overmatched Indiana team in freezing weather at home, mainly on a 90 yd run, and Indiana turnovers (covered/under)
then beat a Ga team w/o their season-long starting QB, 23-10 (covered/under)
then got by Penn St when their QB ran left and tried to throw bk to the right and got picked for game winning FG (covered/over)
Ohio St opened -9 and has been bet down to -8... total opened 46, came down to 45, now bk to 46 on game day.
I do think Ohio St has the best 2 WRs in the game (egbuka and smith)
Both QBs are decent "power runners" and 'gamers'.. Howard (Oh St) better thrower I think.
NDame's Defense (and Coach) might be better, but both will take advantage if you turn it over
Not a big fan of either team so much, but I think the line is over-priced on Ohio St (recency bias)
Ohio State's WRs probably make a few big plays, ND defense prob gets a cheap TD/turnover... NCAA wants a crowd-pleaser
