Chasing with big favorites is going to be tough. You can do it though.

No chasing here. Playing favorites won me money, unfortunately I decided to change my approach but I'm a situational handicapper. I look for teams in bounce back situations or in spots where they have normally performed well. No sweat though. Real money is what I am worried about not message board bragging rights. This is just my observation of what is going on.....

3 Seconds (along with several other MJers) started by pointing out that a record, whether its 15-2 or 2-15, means absolutely nothing in baseball. Units won/lost is ALL that matters. And that is the truth. At the end of the week, I don't go to the bookie and say....."hey man, I went 15-2, so pay me!" He couldn't care less what my record is. He just wants to know what to put in my hand or vice versa. So all I saw 3 Seconds doing here was trying to reason with you, Harvey. When you failed to see the point after numerous posters pleaded with you to just post units.....then you see what has transpired.

Harvey, nobody here has to tell you how to list you plays. That's your right. Put bragging about a W/L record in baseball is ridiculous. I have to think you are smart enough to know that. Also, I read that you think that $1000 is a low bankroll and that you should never risk more than 2-5% of your total bankroll. My only question is then, how much does your bankroll have to be if your biggest plays of the year are on -180 to -300 favorites? I know you'll come back and mention that not all your games are huge chalk.....but average it out and the average is pretty high. You happen to have a 6-figure bankroll? If so, good for you Worm....I mean Harvey.

Lastly, Jason-X, I don't know what to really say about you other than you are in love with Harvey or his BFF. Defending him is one thing.....but chasing 3 Seconds all around the forum and posting anywhere he posts is pretty juvenile. Just sayin :shrug:

Now if the bankroll was 5,000 or 10,000 then it would of been a much more fair competition to the style of plays that harv was posting before this sill contest.

If I'm in a contest.. I am not going wager 200 on the Bo Sox to win 100 with a 1000 bank roll, but I would with a 4000 bank roll otherwise I lose 20% of my stack... Also I am not going to wager 40 to make 20 in a contest because it is a waiste of time. I just think Harvey is put into a position of risking a higher % of the stack to make any money to keep up in the contest. If he were to continue betting the heavy favorite because in all honesty that is why you challenged him to this contest because he always took heavier favorites.

15-2 is winning a lot of money. Especially when my biggest three plays won. You can look up the juice if you want on my losses but I am still way ahead.

Are you serious? Who here posts a record with units included??????????? a lot of people on here don't even post their records(W/L) for the season at all. Units? I don't see anyone showing how many units they are up or down either except for Double Two.
