lightning....any thoughts on dvd players???

Sorry dooley ... i haven't gotten that far yet as far as researching DVD players but I was told to make sure the DVD player has the progressive scan feature.

yeah the newer and more recent models have burn-in resistance....basically what i understand from reading is that the picture somehow rotates pixels so that the image isnt constantly in the same position....could be wrong but i think that was the point

This is correct, however, I am not sure that ALL newer units have this yet but I do know that the Pioneer do.

I am hoping to purchase mine this weekend. Wish me luck!
